Soo-Won looked into her eyes with a pleading look and a softer tone of voice. He had been trying to say something very important, and he wanted her to give him the space to express himself without fear or hesitation. The pleading look in his eyes made him look so vulnerable and helpless, and she couldn't help but feel sympathetic towards him. She wanted him to say whatever he had in his heart, and she was waiting patiently for him to do so.
"Please forgive me for this, but can you please give me one more hug before you leave...?"
A period of silence came upon them, and it was followed by a soft sound of air. Her welcoming gesture gave him the encouragement he needed to come closer, so he did so. He slowly stepped forward and moved towards her. The quietness in between them, the feeling of closeness and warmth, it was a comfortable one. It was something they hadn't experienced before, yet it felt familiar and comforting for the both of them.
Soo-Won stepped forward, wrapping his arms around her. His face was buried into her shoulder, and he closed his eyes tightly. For a few moments, he remained silent and just enjoyed their embrace. The silence itself was deafening, and the feeling of their closeness was overwhelming for him. He didn't want to let go, wanting to keep this embrace going for as long as possible. It was a moment of utter peace and tranquility for him, and he cherished it to his core.
Hyun remained silent and let Soo-Won hug her. She wasn't making any noise or attempting to talk, as she knew that this moment was a special one for him. She wanted to let him have the time to embrace her and find comfort in her presence. It was a quiet time for both of them, where they could just be in each other's arms and know that they were safe and protected by the other.
Soo-Won continued hugging her tightly as he rested his head firmly on her shoulder. He could feel the soft texture of her body as it pressed against his, and the feeling was comforting for him. He took a few deep breaths while in her embrace, closing his eyes tightly and focusing on the sensations of their bodies touching. It was a calming experience, one where he felt content and at ease. He just wanted to stay in this moment for as long as possible, savoring every aspect of it.
"Well, goodnight..."
Hyun wasn't sure if he had wanted to say anything else, but she didn't want to pressure him to continue talking if he didn't want to. She had to admit that she felt tired, but it was nice just to be able to end the night with a sweet moment between the both of them. She decided to just let this moment be the way it was, rather than pushing for any more discussions.
Soo-Won let his head settle against her shoulder as he continued to enjoy the heat of her body and the tenderness of her softness. His eyes stayed closed for a bit longer, almost wanting to hold on to that feeling for as long as possible. He was reluctant to let go of her, but he did anyway. He lifted his head from her shoulder, keeping his eyes closed for a split second before opening them again. After a few more moments, he finally fully let go of her and stood up straight.
"Good night..."
Soo-Won leaned his forehead against hers, bringing back all of those memories they had made as children. Their innocent yet playful interactions, and the way she had stayed by his side throughout all their winters. All of these things came rushing back into his mind and hit him with the sudden feeling of warmth. His entire body was overwhelmed with a feeling of coziness, and he couldn't help but feel like his heart was being filled with butterflies. It was a pleasant feeling, one that was soothing and calming to him.
Hyun felt their foreheads touch against each other, and it was nothing out of the ordinary for them. They had been doing this for a long time since they were children and had found themselves close to each other in those innocent, youthful years. It was a typical occurrence between the two of them, and it was something that was very normal for them. She didn't mind it, as it showed how close they were and how they were comfortable sharing such physical contact.
After leaning his forehead against hers, they remained in the same position for a few precious moments. They let themselves stay like that, enjoying this moment of warmth and serenity. They didn't have a need to move, nor did they desire to do so. They were content just remaining like this, letting the feeling of close intimacy wash over them with no haste to end it. It was a simple yet fulfilling moment that they both cherished.

What a pretty end of my age."
