Yona's birthday party was upon them, and Soo-Won was with Yona, while Hyun was with Hak talking about their duties as bodyguards. It was a relaxing time, with none of them needing to worry about their own tasks. They could talk and socialize as much as they wanted to, without any stress or pressure hanging over them. It was a simple yet wonderful, small moment of respite from their daily lives. They were able to speak freely about their tasks as guardians without having to worry about anything else.

Soo-Won's eyes were glued to Princess Yona as he was with her during her birthday party. Every time Yona talked, Soo-Won would listen attentively. He was completely mesmerized by her as time passed.

But he always looked at Hyun from the corner of his eyes. He was waiting for Hyun to call him.

"Hyun..."

Soo-Won's tone sounded a bit distracted as he tried to catch Hyun's attention. He didn't want to leave her side and was waiting to speak to her again.

Hyun was busy talking to Hak and was enjoying their time together. They were laughing and joking around, having a good time. She was having so much fun, in fact, that she was completely oblivious to the fact that Soo-Won was staring at her. She kept talking and engaging in banter with Hak, completely unaware of his gaze.

Soo-Won noticed about his jealousy, watching Hyun talk to Hak so eagerly. He was feeling quite uncomfortable with the situation, feeling a bit of betrayal towards the way she was enjoying her conversation with Hak. Soo-Won didn't want to admit it, but he was feeling jealous that she was able to have such a good time with Hak. He didn't like to see it, and he wanted her attention back on him. When he didn't get it, he stepped forward and called her name to snap her out of it.

"Hyun.."

"Hm? Yes, Soo-Won?"

This moment was quite adorable for Soo-Won, as he saw how Hyun looked up at him when he got her attention. It was as if she realized that she was enjoying too much time with Hak and suddenly snapped out of it when she saw Soo-Won approaching her. He appreciated and enjoyed the sight, feeling his heart flutter a bit upon noticing
Hyun's cute expression and couldn't help but feel a sense of attraction towards her yet again.

"Were you going to forget about me for someone else...?"

Soo-Won quickly changed his tone to a more teasing and playful one. He wanted to see Hyun smile again at the end of the day. He just hoped that her attention would end up on him again.

"Huh!? No! Why would I forget about you for a reckless jerk like Hak?"

"Ehm, excuse me?"

Hyun's words caused some distress towards Hak, making him feel offended. She had seemingly called him a reckless jerk, and it was obvious to him that she meant to speak in reference to him. Hak felt his pride wounded, and it was clear for Soo-Won to see how he perceived her words as a slight insult towards him. Hak, feeling agitated, lashed out at her.

Soo-Won tried to hold his laughter back when he heard Hyun calling Hak a reckless jerk, as she really didn't like Hak at all.

"Hey, hey! Don't call Hak something like that."

His tone was a mix between laughter and scolding. He couldn't allow Hyun to call Hak anything like that so casually. The guy didn't deserve to be disrespected.

"Don't you think that's a bit too harsh of a word?"

Soo-Won tried to reason with Hyun as he defended Hak in this moment.

"Yeah, Hyun. Don't you think it's too harsh to call me that?"

Hak responded playfully, feeling that her words were pretty strong. He took the chance to be quite sassy toward her, saying that it was a harsh thing to call him. They were just joking around, but it was clear just how much she had affected him with her statement. It was cute, seeing Hak acting like this as he interacted with her.

"You called me short!"

"Becausee you are!"

Hyun and Hak began to argue, starting off with small comments but then escalating into a bigger argument. Both of them began shouting at each other and exchanging harsh words, with Hyun accusing Hak of calling her short. He immediately retorted and argued that it was true, which only infuriated Hyun even more. Hyun yelled back, and their argument persisted as they continued to go at each other, no one backing down.

Soo-Won laughed silently as he watched Hyun and Hak argue like children. He couldn't believe that out of everyone, these two were arguing over something as silly as that.

Hyun's arguments were definitely hilarious, but Hak was getting offended by them. Soo-Won couldn't keep his laughter from coming out anymore.

"Can you stop fighting over nonsense like that?"

Soo-Won was still laughing and couldn't control himself anymore. He saw the whole scene as a comedy play.

Hak: "Tell her that!"

Hyun: "Tell him that!"

Hak and Hyun spoke at the same time, each saying the opposite thing the other one wanted. This was very comical for both Yona and Soo Won, as they couldn't help but laugh at their interactions. They were enjoying seeing the two of them get on each other's nerves, even as they knew that a serious argument could start between them. The whole moment was amusing to them, despite the tense situation.

Soo-Won couldn't hold his laughter anymore as he watched Hyun and Hak acting like children in front of him and Yona. They were definitely acting like kids as they were arguing over something so trivial.

The more Soo-Won saw them argue like that in front of him and Yona, the more he couldn't help but find the whole thing hilarious. He laughed uncontrollably as the two of them spoke at the same time, which made him feel like the scene was becoming even funnier.

Hyun and Hak both laughed along with Yona and Soo Won, joining them in the shared sentiment. Everyone was finding humor in the situation, and no one wanted the lighthearted mood to end. Despite the tensions that existed between them, the group was able to enjoy the moment and the interactions instead of fighting or arguing. It all felt very peaceful and nice in the end, making it even funnier as they laughed together.

Soo-Won still kept on laughing even as Hyun and Hak laughed along with him. The scene started to feel less like a comedy play and a bit more cute as time passed.

Soo-Won's heart fluttered when he saw Hyun laugh like that. She looked way more than cute when she laughed. He didn't want to stop smiling now.

He was just happy in that moment as he looked at Hyun and Hak laugh. He couldn't explain it, but he felt a different sort of excitement now as he looked at Hyun again.
