GAIUS

We are now inside the Heryth mountains while I drag Zenith on my arms. Halos umuusok ang bawat hininga ko dahil sa lamig ng gabing ito. We were expecting that winter will come today or tomorrow. Inalalayan ko ito dahil nawalan na ito ng malay after using his destructive ability. Those family of mine are so fucked up. Why are they after me again?! 

I heard Zenith groaned in pain. "Fuck... I can't f-feel my l-legs." Rinig kong bulong ni Zenith sa braso ko habang kinaladkad ito. Whenever he uses his ability, his energy will be eaten by his destructive ability. Darkness.

"I know, so shut up and just go unconscious. I'll find a place for us to stay." Utos ko nito at simula naman itong umiyak kaya ramdam  ko ring humapdi at sumakit ang lalamonan ko.

"I-I can't find Rogwer a-anywhere. He's gone, he must be burned to crisp by that fire user." I just closed my eyes shut at nagpapatuloy sa paglalakad habang kinaladkad si Zenith sa balikat ko. Snow started to fall down kaya suminghot ako ng malakas.

I hope they will rot in hell, but I guess they'll be covered with white snow by tomorrow.

Lumingon ako sa likod ko at halos itim lang ang nakikita ko sa Kofodwyn Village. It was consumed by darkness and it was because of Zenith. Everyone in the village was fucking killed and I cannot blame Zenith's suddent rampage. It was my father's fault why he attacked us and killed Rogwer.

I found a shed that I made when I was still 4 in this spot of Heryth mountain kaya pumasok kami rito at dito muna tatago. I can't believe that this shed I made after my fucking father abandoned me when I was still 4 is still useful. 

Ibinagsak ko si Zenith sa loob saka daing naman ito sa sakit. "Dito muna tayo. I have to heal your wounds." Sabi ko nito at nagsimulang pagalingin ito gamit ang tubig na lumalabas sa mga palad ko.

"Gaius! Wake up!" Rinig kong singhal ni master Gravien sa mukha ko kaya agad agad naman akong bumangon at nakita ang sarili ko na nasa loob ako ng isang maluhong kwarto habang nakaupo sa kama dito sa tabi ko si master Gravien. Where the hell am I? Where's Zenith?!

"Master, where's Zenith? And where am I?" Tanong nito sa akin pero bigla akong niyakap nito. What the hell? He doesn't act like this.

"I thought I lost you after I received the news." Sabi nito at kumalas na sa pagyakap sa akin. I just noticed how wrinkly his face become. Ito lang ang pinakamalapit na distansya kong nakikita ang master namin after 9 years of training.

"What news? And where's Zenith? Kailangan ko siyang mahanap. Napagaling ko naman siya gamit ang kapangyarihan ko kaya okay na 'yun but he should be here with me." Sabi ko nito. I started to panic.

Tumayo ito sa kama saka tumalikod. "Isinundo si Zenith ng mga rebelde ni Indra para ipapaupo ito sa trono." Sabi ni master kaya napahawak ako sa noo ko. "He will become the King of Triben in no time." Dagdag nito kaay ibinura ko ang mukha ko gamit ang mga kamao ko. I'm left alone now. I'm fucking all alone now.

"So Gaius, you must do too." Utos nito saaking habang nakatingin sa akin kaya napaharap ako nito. 

"What do you mean?" Nalilitong tanong ko sa kaniya at saka bumuntong hininga naman ito.

"Join the selection of the next water element guardian." Sabi nito kaya napatigil ako sa puwesto ko. How could he say that! I'm not fit for that title at all! I've done so many stupid and useless things. I'm even notorious in this Kingdom! "I know, I know. Calm your thoughts down. Your thoughts are so damn loud." Sabi nito kaya napailing ako dahil nakalimotan ko palang makakabasa ito ng isipan.
