Aditi's POV
"So tell us about yourself", I broke the ice with Kyra's date with whom she barely spoke two sentences.
Did he already bore her?
"There's nothing new about us.You hear about us all the time in college", he attempted humour which wasn't successful
I glanced at Kyra who was massaging her temples every time he opened his mouth.
"You guys!! Talk more heartily."
"Sanjay and I will be getting drinks", I said as Kyra kicked my feet, urging me not to go
If I stay here this date wouldn't go anywhere.
"You think they'll like each other?" Sanjay asked chuckling
"Not sure"
"Here.I brought your favourite flowers", he surprised me with a bouquet
My face fell a bit on seeing it
Tulips?
"Thanks. My favourite is sunflower", I gave a half smile as he frowned
Our first date-the questions..does he even remember?
"Gosh... I'm so sorry,Bee.I was stressed about the match...", he reasoned
"It's fine.Don't wanna spoil the mood tonight"
Why do I even try? My luck never budges
We were talking when a girl interrupted us, greeting him with a hug
"Who's this?", she enquired, eyeing me with snobbery
"She's.....my girlfriend", the pause in his words was like draggers in my heart
The girl's face curved in suprise as she faked a smile
"I forgot you mentioned", she said
As I studied her appearance, I couldn't pin point what's so special about her that she's got this big head attitude
Feeling so out of place my frustration grew out of control.
"Sanjay!!" I called him out
"Is there's something you want to tell me?"
"No.What are you talking about?" he stammered, running his hand through his hair
It was clear that he was hiding something
"I'm being so okay with you messing up this evening and you won't tell me what's wrong?" I fumed
"Fine!!You wanna know.You're being out of place with all my friends"
He said that
Did he really say that?
Tears welled up my eyes but this made me more upset than hurt
"Cause you are a bunch of weirdos!!", I shook my head in disbelief, storming out of the restaurant

Kyra's POV
I excused myself to the bathroom, escaping from that guy.
He thinks he's Harry Styles or something
Running the tap on, I looked up at the mirror to fix my makeup and Rishi's reflection startled me.
On turning around, I spotted him standing close to one of the stalls.
Unlike my date he was really dashing in a simple jeans and tee
"Bored already?" he smirked, folding his hands against his chest.
