"Hi, I'm Leah." She whispers.
"I'm Emma, but most people call me Em." I replied.
"You play for Chelsea, right?" She asks, sitting herself down on one of the beds.
"Um, yeah." I hesitated, "by the way you can have whatever bed you want I don't mind."
"You can choose, Em, I don't mind." She smiles.
"Leah just choose one. I haven't been here as long as you-"
"Which makes even more reason for you to choose." She insists.
"Okay, I'll have this one then" I told her, sitting down on the one I claimed earlier.
"Actually I want that one." She tells me seriously, before breaking out into laughter.
"You shit." I exclaimed.
She starts to put her clothes away in the drawers, whilst she asks me questions.
"Wait- so how old are you?" She questions.
"I've just turned 18." I reply.
"Holy shit. You must be good." She says shocked.
"I hope so. You're what? 23?" I ask.
"Almost 25." She shakes her head, "I'm so old now"
"I wouldn't say that. You're pretty young still."
"So Lotte tells me, you two grew up together?" She asks.
"Oh yeah, our mums worked together so we always used to hang out, even if she is like 4 years older than me. She's lovely." I smile, "where abouts did you grow up?"
"Milton Keynes. I love that place. I got scouted by arsenal at 9 so we moved a little closer to London after that. When were you scouted?"
"Um- I was 15 when Chelsea asked me to join." I muttered.
"And now you're here, like 3 years later. That's crazy." She laughs.
She takes a moment to look over at me, I'm already looking at her but she looks so gorgeous. She sends me a kind of confused look, but I look away to avoid questioning.
"Yeah it is a bit. Don't we have to go down for dinner soon?" I ask, wanting to escape quickly, I have so much to tell Millie.
"Yeah, do you want to walk down together?" She ponders, wanting to spend more time with me.
"Sure."
"So, um, any boyfriend? Girlfriend?" She asks me.
"No, I haven't really had the time. Maybe now I'll start looking for one. A girlfriend I mean, boys repulse me." I gag, making her laugh, "how about you?"
"Nope not anymore. Looking for someone though." She sighs, looking a little deflated.
"Sorry I made you upset or something. Can I help?" I ask her, rubbing my hand up and down her back.
"No it's fine. She was bad for me anyway. Come sit with me?" She queries, looking hopeful.
"I will 100% but I need to speak to Millie really quickly and then I'll be over." I smile, running off as quick as I can to Millie.
I take a big breath to signal my presence.
"What's up kid?" Millie asks me.
"I think I love her." I admit.
"Em, you always do this. You don't love her." She laughs.
"No, I do. This is different." I protest.
"Every time 'this time is different I love her differently'. If you want to, just be careful, but please think about it before you do anything because you always fall in love and then out of love and it's so confusing, Em." Millie exposes me to the rest of the people surrounding her. It's only her, Rach, Niamhy and Jess.
