I looked at Mr Lores, "No, we don't need to talk. We were noting more than a hookup. I never felt anything for you. Even if I did it wouldn't work." I said and walked with him to the Library where they kept the paperwork in the back.
Mr Lores seemed hurt and also mad, "You said you needed time. Where is this coming from?" He asked. His tone was calm but his voice itself was filled with venom. I took a step back from him. "I've been thinking. All we did was have lunch and we fucked. We don't even have a connection. Just leave it in the past." I said and grabbed the paperwork that was labelled with his name.
"So it was all a lie to you?" He sounded upset and mad. I just nodded, lied. and walked back to the classroom. It stung to lie but it's better to end a thing that had never a chance.
I heard a loud bang noise coming from the storage room. I knew Mr Lores was mad and I didn't want to see it.
When I returned to the classroom I placed the paperwork on the teachers' desk and sat down in my seat again. "Where is Mr Lores?" Jess asked. "I don't know. He said he'd be right back," I shrugged.
Soon we all got a mail, and the room filled with the sound of a mail notification.
Lecture cancelled.
Professor Lores went home.I felt a pit in my stomach. Did what I said affect him that much? Jess and I packed up and made our way to the parking lot. Her brother had lent her his car.
When we drove out of the parking lot I still saw the Matt Black Mazarati. I frowned but pushed the feeling away.
"His absence was so random," Jess said, keeping her eyes on the road. "He said he had a headache." I covered for him. "I thought he'd be back." It didn't feel right to lie, but I'd rather lie a bit now instead of being with a pornstar who is also my teacher and then having to lie for months.
Jess and I sat on the sofa enjoying a glass of wine while talking about what we wanted to do when we graduate. My plan was simple: Get a job as a Psychologist in a hospital, I'd probably continue to live with Lukas until one of us found a reason to move out. Jess' was a bit spicier, she would do a big trip around the world and then when she got back she'd start her beauty shop. She would try to get out her very own makeup brand.
We heard Marcus and Lukas stumble out of Lukas' room. "You have an awesome set of guitars," Marcus complimented my brother. "I know right, I got that Red Special from my awesome sister over here," Lukas said and sat next to me. I shrugged and continued talking to Jess.
We all had a nice together, and most of the time we got to know Marcus. A few things I picked up were: he was Jess' twin brother, he loved surfing and the beach, he was a professional swimmer, and he had a boyfriend back in San Diego where he lived. He told us he moved there when he went to college, he got a scholarship for the swimming team.
I felt it would be a lot of fun to hang out, just the four of us. I didn't mind at all that my brother and I shared some friends, I always heard about sibling fights because they stole each other's friends but I don't see the problem as long as I'm not being excluded.
"What are you guys doing during the holidays?" Jess asked. The holidays were nearing, next week is Thanksgiving. Normally we'd go home during the holidays but since Dad has a new girlfriend and our parents are separated we don't go home. We didn't like Dad's girlfriend, and going to Mom's would be unfair to Dad.
"We're staying in, eating some dinner and watching some movies," I explained. "What about you?" Jess shrugged, "No plans, that's why I asked." Jess took a sip of wine. "What about you come to eat with us and we can have a sleepover," I smiled at her. She agreed, eager to spend Thanksgiving and Christmas with us.

This chapter was pretty short and I'm sorry about that. I have a lot of work from school and at home.
Thanks for understanding!!
