Haru pov

So, I was on my way to home but in between, I met soojin friend, Kyung seok .
" Hey there!! Are you going way back to home."
" Guess so, do you want something."
He scratched his head, confused in his look. I looked away and kept on walking.
" Are you insecure about your financial status?? I mean, you should have first confirm her about that, there is some fault of yours too. Life is not all about money. You know." I was  blankly staring at him. On the other side, he couldn't met a eye contact. I continued walking. Ignoring his words.
" Sorry about that, btw, we can be friends too. You seem to be interesting person."
"Since you are my friend. I could tell you about my past. Will you not follow me."
He obeyed and moved his feet so he could met my pace.
" You have parents who could provide you everything you want. I was a parent of me, since I was born. You don't think about money, because you don't need to. Meanwhile, I had to choose between whether to take new clothes or  pay due rent since childhood. You don't have to work 3 jobs to fill your stomach. You can't say anyone that you are tired. Only I know, why money is important over love?? Because love never fed my stomach."
He was quiet , quiet for a while.
He pat my shoulder.
" You really worked so rough and it is a result of who are you. Never ashamed of your journey. Haru, but my answer wouldn't change. Love can never ever be compared with money. You don't want love because you never felt one. And about money, once you have someone to love, it will give you strength to protect them and shield them."
" You talk much."
"I inherited from someone." He smiled and looked at sky.
" Your parents??"
" No. It is someone else."
One of the guy with masked on, interrupted us.
" We, as the most senior of the school wants to invite you at our farewell. "
He offered us bouquet and card.
" Ok, will surely come. "
Suddenly some children came and mock him about his scars on his right cheek. He was quite upset with that. Before I could say something Kyung seok pat his shoulder amd smiled.
" Don't hide your scars. Scars of yours made me remind someone I love."
He talked like he could write philosophy anytime but still he is better than that ass named Kate.
And suddenly Kate appeared,out of nowhere, and outburst on Kyung seok.
" Looks like someone is having fun." In a very sarcastically tone, he asked.
"Seems like you are jealous, do you like me?"
"No."
" Do you like him??" " No." This time Kyung seok answered.
" Then why are you mingling in our business."
He side eyed me and looked away.
In between, I was whispering in Kyung seok's ear.
" So you kissed her. Huh!! " He mocked him.
" You are really making things out of nothing. See, this peanut is playing victim again. Don't fall for her eyes and words. What a deciever??"
" So tell him, it's a lie."
"It's not a truth either. "
"It's complicated. I guess so."
I saw Kate face and moved out of the place. Kyung seok followed me an asked me to come to the farewell of juniors.

Next day

I wore the hanbok that kate gifted me so I could impress him without showing my intention.
I was heading to the party and there I saw Kate, all dressed up.
I was expecting a high reputed expression. On the contrary, he laughed at me. He mocked me by saying that you have correct fashion sense for wrong time. I ignored him but he pulled my hands and pulled me closer.
" I didn't finish talking. Did I? "
" Leave me, this things are not appropriate for friends."
" Yup, but these are."  After that, that jerk  literally threw me on the mud.
"Oopsie, seems like someone clothes got dirty."
" Btw, I had one dress if you are considerate. "
He showed some plain white fashion.
" Don't look me like that. My choices are obviously better than yours."
"Seems like I have no choice."
And somewhere we saw any public washroom, and there I changed my place.
We went to the place and there I saw everyone wearing western. I might look joker if he didn't save me.
There some junior tried to asked my number. But what I saw was an opportunity, to make his ass burn. From the distance, he was watching me with his eagle eyes. I was just only discussing about some anime show but I made sure that to him, he looked like it was flirting. Seems like I hit bullseye. Right in the pupil. I turned around to see his expression one more time. But that jerk was one step ahead of me, he literally has an audacity to use my weapon against me. He, with his wicked smile, had a glanced at me and flirts with a girl that I didn't know the name of.I grunt, but it was counter, you have         underestimated me, Mr. Kate. I went to another boy and kept on sweet talking with him. I pat his shoulder. Eager to see his expression, I turned around, he was already flirting with bunch of girls. They were all surrounding him, smiling at him. What so funny. Huh!! One of the girls was trying to be so close with him. One inhale, she would be sulked from his nose. That creep. I need to invent new plan. I signalled Kyung seok to come here.
" Look, you have to act like you are my boyfriend in front of Kate."
" Why?? "
" We have a common enemy. So we have to co-operate. And look, you called me friend. So you gotta deal with me."
I grabbed his hand and took him there. While the all the girls out, that one creep was still sitting there.
" Kate, look, I proposed Kyung seok. And he said yes. "
Meanwhile Kyung seok was questioning his existence, he had no choice but agreed yes. My final bow. Now Kate, you will regret all together after rejecting me.
That girl laughed and said," isn't he Luna ex. Your choices are degrading day by day. First, hideous. Second, pauper. "
Kyung seok, with his death stare, in the mid of the urge to be humble or made her humble. He took one step, but I stopped him. Kate was just fed up from this whole scenario. Hideous. Huh!! Did Kyung seok had any relationship.
" Hideous. Who??" " Luna." She cut my words and begin ranting her shits.
" Seems like you are always your baby's puppet. Be a man. Btw, how much you earned from being a hole in the pocket of boys."
Aish!! That bitch, she is checking my patience.  I took out one note, but made sure, no one will notice.
" Ahh!! I lost my money somewhere. Kate, move your ass from chair and help me  in it." She laughed while drinking . As soon as she put her glass down. I lifted  the table cloth simultaneously, in a fast pace. Resulting in ruining her dress. " There it is." Kate was embarrassed, Kyung seok terrified and that bitch, shocked.
" What the hell, do you even know how much it cost. "
" I am sorry, should I pay it to your daddy or mommy. You fucking parasite. "
After listening, he spit out the water out of his mouth.
He grabbed my shoulder and forced me out of her sight. Meanwhile, Kyung seok also was finding his way out of  her sight too.
Kate literally lashed on me after this. For some minute, I listened but then when I had my enough, I revolted.
"Why are you lashing so much on me. This is public place. You don't know how to behave." He raished his eyebrow and I folded my arms.
" You better not teach me that."
"Btw, you are really in a relationship with that brat."
" Seems like something burning."
" You really think, I am jealous. I am interested in Kyung seok. That jerk, he."
"Btw you know who is Luna and why she calling her hideous. There was rumour I heard she was dark chapter of the school. And ."
"Keep your mouth shut. It has nothing to do with you. " And then he ignored my existence altogether. Why he turned so brutal cold and temper. Ahh!! This man will forever be mystery. Now, I wanted to know more about her.

Author pov

Meanwhile, all this happening, Time shared all the stuffed to Luna.
" So you are saying that kate said this epic line while drunk. Our first kiss will be in front of father in church.". He should write some poetry." Luna said while she was sitting on a swing
" He mistake her as you."
" Don't say or else, I would vomit it. Seems like I need to take part in this now. "
" What will you do now??"
" Don't worry, I already asked life. She approved. Just tell me how much power I hold."

In the evening
I kept on thinking about luna. What a mysterious girl. Noone really talks about her. On  contrast, everything is connected to her somehow. I need to find a lot of things about her. And the first thing will be her relationship with kaye.I was going through and in midway, I found out one store, I checked a very cute pendant. A white crystal, simple and delicate. I purchased right away.
" Hey, wanna have some coffee?? Tomorrow."
I texted.
"Who are you??" Seobin replied
"Haru, in your college. Actually, I got your number from my friends. I think you are cute, would you like to go on date. Bill is on my side."
" Sure, at the 2: 00 pm."
" Ok!! Deal done."
