Seven

Halmoni back with gifts.

Jungkook and jimin were waiting patiently for their halmoni to finally come.Okay not so patiently but very anxiously.Their halmoni just called saying that she was an hour away that made both of them excitingly wait infringe of the door.Jungkook had also decided to make lasagne for their dinner as in order to prove jimin wrong that he can cook.

Finally they heard the doorbell ring,they both rushed to the door but was to met with the post man who handed them a bunch of letters and left.Again they both waited for her and more like after a entire year she came,that is what it felt like to jungkook because his midget brother fell asleep.Jungkook hugged his grandma and told her to be quiet and let jimin sleep because he wanted to enjoy his alone time with his grandma and not a small annoying jimin who would ramble about how jungkooks cooking sucks,which fyi it does not.Okay maybe sometimes.Jungkooks grandma sat on the living room and started ranting over how much fun she had there.After a hour of ranting she pulled out her luggage and gave a small gift bag to jungkook,who took it without asking questions

There was a beautiful bunny shaped lamp that was perfect for his table.It suited jungkooks personality a lot because he loved and adored bunnies a lot. The young male smiled and examined the lamp all around when he heard his brothers dramatic gasp,informing him that he was awake.
"You both goose are enjoying and didn't bother to wake me up excuse me"jimin huffed
"And who told you to fall asleep"jungkook laughed
Jimin pointed at himself while he said
"You have no sympathy for my small jimin soul"
Their grandma shaked her head and she looked at jimin who was being so dramatic and replied to him
"If you keep being dramatic,I will give all the gifts to bunny"

That made jimin shut up and quickly sit next to her while waiting for his own gifts.
"Auntie somi sent this bunny hat and shoes for jungkook and that baking stuff for you jimin"
Both males hearts were filled with happiness on seeing how much gifts they have gotten from their grandma being gone for just three days.He loved how everyone loved their personality and would love to pamper them with gifts.

"Um your jin hyung also sent one too"

Upon hearing their hyungs name,they both dropped their current gift bags and looked up.

"I'm not sure what's inside each box but here this one for you-and this one for you"she handed them both a velvet box covered with dark blue roses ontop.

Jungkooks hand trembled because yes he has been talking non stop with his hyung but he has not physically met him nor did they ever send gifts and this being the first it shocked jungkook.He glanced over at jimin who was aggressively already ripping his box apart just to see what's inside,not caring if the gift might be fragile.His grandma saw jungkook not opening his box and sat beside him and patted his back

"Bunny,it must be special that you don't want to open it but you will regret it later,open it"
Jungkook traced the rose design on the box and titled his head as if the box was taking his breath away it made him unable to breathe but then he finally let all that nonsense thoughts away in the bin and opened the box gently.There laid a beautiful small card with a picture pasted on the back.It was picture of them three when they went to their grandparents house and jimin had painted on their grandparents living room couch so jin tried covering it with white paint while scolding jimin and jungkook?he stood there with paint all over his face,as if he was the canvas.Their grandpa walked in as he sighed knowing how much trouble makers his grandson's can be but scolding their small butts he decided to take a picture.Jungkook giggled remembering that moment and how jin hyung was the only one who had that picture.
After he examined the joyful memorable image he went rummaging in the box again and to find a small bunny toy

"KOOKIE!"jungkook screamed as he held the plushie up
"Kookie?your childhood toy?omg no way Jin hyung gave you that same one!"jimin remarked
"WAIT KOOKIE HE GAVE ME CHIMMY TOO"Jimin hugged jungkook as they jumped in joy while their grandma shaked her head laughing and went to clean up the mess

"Jin hyung saved these for us omg now Tata has a freind"jungkook hugged his childhood plushie
"How did he even find it-but that's a question for another time now let's enjoy"

Jungkook and Jimin was at the store with their appa when they passed by a small toy shop that made them stop walking and run to it.They both had their eyes glued to the specifc toys they saw inside but their appa did not want to take them in that store so he particularly had to drag them to the food court where his oldest son and his wife sat waiting for the three of them.The both youngest neglected to eat their food until they were taken to the store but they had a busy day ahead so their parents disagreed.After their mall disaster,they all went to the doctors for their mother and both boys were grumpily sitting on the patients chairs.
Okay-more like they were running around in the small room of the doctors and were shoving items they saw so beautifully sitting on the doctors table into their pockets.Their pockets being so small,the doctor saw the stolen items but just shaked it off because they were so young and she had plenty more of those items.Their day went really slow and so busy that their parents were able to finish their work as they ended their day by going to visit their grandparents which surely did lighten up the gloomy mood.

A few weeks passed and they both did not forget that toy shop,sometimes they would draw the toy they saw there and show it to their hyung to show what they really want to buy.Jin understanding their so passion for that toy so he begged his mother to take him to that store and bought those two items which he hid so it would be a surprise for both boys.

"Shh now you both close your eyes"
"Okie hyungie" the small boys closed their eyes so adorably
Jin placed the two plushie right in  front of them as he then asked them to open their eyes,when they did they really did shed actual tears while hugging their hyung
"Okay now babies check them out or if you keep hugging me they will run away"Jin laughed
The boys ran to their plushie while hugging them to death and kissing it all over.
"Kookie,am wanna name it kookie hyungie"
"An mine chimmy"
"Keep them safe,they will protect you from danger okay babies"
Both of them nodded eagerly while they ran to their room and played with their new plushies.

When slowly time passed faster,they all grew up but kept their plushies really close with them,till one day when they first saw their parents fighting.They didn't know what was happening and they ran to their bed when they saw their appa walking to the door that they were peeking in.Their appa slammed their room door open and searched hungrily for their plushies when he found it ,he snatched it away

"APPA KOOKIE NO"
"CHIMMY WAIT WHY"

Their adorable memorable plushie was now gone as they had nothing but to cry.

Jungkook watched his hyung admire his childhood plushie while he asked
"Do you think that night when appa took it from us,hyung took it back and kept it safe?"
"I really think so,I don't know why appa would say our plushies were the reason he had no money"
"Let's leave past behind hyung and enjoy the time now"

Jungkook and jimin both packed their gifts away in their rooms when jimin stood straight and asked
"Um wait-how did halmoni find Jin hyung?and get his gift-did she go visit appa?!?"
"Aish leave it,even if she did it's her daughters husband anyways"

"So who made this gorgeous lasagna?"their halmoni asked while serving them all some
"Someone who thinks he can cook"jimin remarked
"And I can and I did see"jungkook pointed
"Omooo my baby bun made it awe its delicious"

They all enjoyed their dinner all thanks to jungkook for cooking once in his life and really listening to the recipe properly.Their whole day was rollercaoster filled with many hurdles but the lasagna made it their best night that they would not forget.Maybe it was nice letting their halmoni travel alone sometimes.

"I miss you my family,hope we connect again"

Jungkook whispered to himself before joining his grandma and jimin hyung on the sofa to watch a movie.
