Yuuto awoke the next morning, the events of the previous night replaying in his mind like scenes from a movie. He had met Ai Hoshino, the famous idol whose work he admired deeply. As a singer and actor, she was a shining star in the entertainment industry, and Yuuto had been captivated by her performance in one of her movie series.

After going through his usual morning routine of bathing, brushing his teeth, and donning his regular hospital gown, Yuuto awaited the arrival of his breakfast and the routine check-up by the nurse. Once that was done, he made his way to meet Dr. Amamiya, spending most of his time with the doctor as he was the only person Yuuto felt close to in the hospital.

Knocking on the door, Yuuto was welcomed inside by Dr. Amamiya with a warm smile. "How are we doing today?" the doctor inquired, noticing Yuuto's subdued demeanor as he took a seat with a sigh. "Fine, I guess..." Yuuto replied with a forced smile.

Sensing something amiss, Dr. Amamiya pressed further. "You look dull. Something's bothering you?" he observed, concern evident in his voice. Yuuto's expression softened as he spoke, "Sora turns 6 today." Sora Aoki was Yuuto's younger sister, and the mere mention of her brought a mixture of joy and sadness to his heart.

"Oh, she's one kind girl," Dr. Amamiya remarked warmly. "I bet she's enjoying her day to the fullest. Mama and papa must be spoiling her with lots of love and gifts," he added, trying to lift Yuuto's spirits. Yuuto managed a smile, though his eyes betrayed the sadness he felt deep inside.

Just then, there was a knock on the door, and a nurse entered the room. "Someone's here to meet Yuuto," she announced. Lost in his thoughts, Yuuto hadn't heard her initially, but Dr. Amamiya gestured for the visitor to enter.

"Oni-chan..." a familiar voice called out, drawing Yuuto's attention away from his thoughts. His eyes lit up as a little girl ran towards him and enveloped him in a warm hug. "How are you doing, Onii-chan?" she asked, her voice filled with genuine concern.

Yuuto felt a wave of emotions wash over him as he hugged his sister tightly, tears welling up in his eyes. "Happy birthday, Sora-chan," he whispered, planting a gentle kiss on her forehead. "Arigatōgozaimasu, Onii-chan," Sora replied, her words filled with love and gratitude.

"I brought you a gift, Oni-chan," Sora exclaimed with excitement, handing Yuuto a small bag. "But it's your birthday, honeybee. I should be giving you gifts. What do you want for your birthday?" Yuuto asked, touched by his sister's gesture. Sora held his hand and smiled brightly. "Can I ask for anything?" she inquired, her eyes shining with hope.

"Yes, you can ask for anything, and I'll do my best to give it to you," Yuuto assured her, gently squeezing her hand. Sora's face lit up with joy as she spoke, "Come home, Oni-chan. I want to live with my brother." Yuuto's heart ached at her innocent request, and tears welled up in his eyes. He pulled her into a tight hug, unable to hold back his emotions.

"You'll give me that chance to live with my brother, right?" Sora asked, her tiny hands rubbing Yuuto's back in a comforting gesture. Overcome with emotion, Yuuto couldn't find the words to respond. Dr. Amamiya watched the scene unfold, feeling a lump form in his throat. The gift Sora desired was nothing short of a miracle.

Sora then approached Dr. Amamiya, her eyes filled with hope. "Will you treat my brother and send him home soon, sensei?" she asked, her voice filled with innocence and trust. Amamiya tried to smile through his own emotions. "I will do my best, Sora-chan," he replied, gently ruffling her hair.

Sora smiled and returned to her brother's side, hugging his arm tightly. She was beaming with happiness, her innocence shining brightly. Just then, a woman entered the room. "Let's go, Sora-chan. Papa is waiting in the car," she announced. Yuuto wiped away his tears and greeted his mother with a smile. "Mama, how are you?" he asked, trying to hide his emotions.
