The next day, Coraline woke up by a aggressive shaking by her brother, she groaned  and fluttered her eyes open "Whattt?" She groaned and sat up. "Wake up, breakfast is ready" He replied, his hands still on her shoulders and shook her again but this time less aggressive. "I'm up, I'm up!" She said in a annoying tone as she moved his hands away from her shoulders. She stretched and yawned, rubbing her eyes. Her hair was messy and there was droll on her chin. She wiped the drool off her chin and sat up. It was summer break for her so no school no stress.

She put her hair up and checking the time on her phone then walked downstairs to eat breakfast. She said good morning to both her father and brother and then continued to eat. "I'm going to be coming late after work today" Her father informed as he ate. "Hey dad, is it fine if my friends come over I go to theirs?" Her father frowned his eyebrows and glared at her brother. "and Coraline?" She rolled her eyes and sighed. "I'll be fine, dad, promise to call if there's anything" She said, with her puppy eyes, trying to convince her father to let her stay home alone. Her father sighed, realizing she's not a child anymore and was old enough to stay home alone. "... fine, just don't go out doing trouble" She smiled widely in excitement as she glanced at her brother who let out a sigh of relief, letting him finally go out with his friends without having to worry about his sister. Her father agreed, which means She'll be home alone.

Eventually she was left home alone after a while as she sat in her room and thought of something to do. Right! Luna! She remembered and went outside, making sure no one was around and yes her father and brother left. She walked into the forest, looking around to find Luna somewhere and show her cat friend her room.

She suddenly while she was looking behind her she bumped into something, or someone making her lose her balance and fall. It was definitely bigger than her since it towered her as she could see it's shadow on the ground, She panicked and thought it was something maybe dangerous but a voice interrupted her thoughts. "What are you doing here?" A familiar voice asked, his tone was harsh and cold. She looked up to see none other than Rowan. "looking for your sister." She replied, rolling her eyes and got up form the ground, brushing the dirt off her clothes. "Why?" 'God why does he have to ask a lot?! I'm not gonna kill her or anything!' She thought herself as she glared at him. She rolled her eyes, annoyed. "To hang out with her? Why else?" He shrugged, his hands in his pockets as he looked down at her. For a cat man, his clothes are surprisingly good- No. "Don't know, you look too weak to kill someone, so I guess not kill her" She death glared at him, clinching her fists. 'What is wrong with this dude?!' She thought to herself, trying not to burst. "Ha, funny." She replied, smiling 'sweetly'. "Where is she?" She asked crossing her arms and frowning. He just shrugged and walked away. "I'm talking to you!" She said, quickly moving in front of him and stopped him. He just stared down at her as if she was a pathetic ant. He smirked and walked towards her, getting closer and closer. She was surprised by his sudden actions and walked back as he got closer, stepping away from him. "I told you, I don't know" He replied, his in a low tone as he kept his hands in his pockets and kept walking closer as she walked away further until her back hit a tree. When her back hit a tree, making her stop walking backwards he stopped too, keeping a distance.
