When Genevieve wakes up the next morning all remnants of her headache are gone and the sun is shining through her window, covering the room in a golden hue. Today she'll have to prepare and do her interviews with Caesar Flickerman.

She takes a quick shower and then heads straight for her closet. If they're doing interview prep she'll probably have to wear a dress but daffodil probably has one for her already. Instead she chooses a light blue tank top and some black joggers hoping she can get away with wearing heels in that outfit if they're just practising. Pulling her hair into a bun she leaves her room and makes her way to breakfast.

The table is filled with all sorts of delicacies that make her mouth water and her stomach grumble. For a split second she wonders if she could eat like this everyday; the answer is yes as long as she wins the games.

Making a mental note to exercise later after all the rich food she's about to have, she pulls out a chair and sits down.

Only Haven and Daffodil are sitting at the table. Finnick and Caspian are nowhere to be seen.

"Oh I'm sorry. Am I late again?" Genevieve asks apologetically.

Haven smiles. She's dipping some kind of biscuit into her tea and smiles when she hear her asking the question. "Only a little. Now come and grab some breakfast before we start training."

Genevieve focuses on breakfast as Haven and Daffodil begin a very animated conversation about interview dresses and high heels that almost makes her sick.

"Today Daffodil and I will be coaching you on how to present yourself in front of an audience. I understand that you've probably done this before at the academy but it's important that we know what you can bring to the table and the best angle to approach this from." Haven explains through a mouthful of toast.

"You'll have four hours on basic etiquette and presentation and then another four on content and mock interviews." Daffodil chippers rocking back and forth on her chair.

After breakfast she is immediately led away by Daffodil back to the bedroom to change into a long flowy ballroom gown with a ridiculously poofy skirt.

"Why do I have to wear this dress out of all the options in there?" She complains as Daffodil zips her up.

"Because this colour brings out your eyes and I think it really sets the tone. Makes practise feel more" she pauses for effect and Genevieve resists the urge to groan. "Realistic!"

"Okay. We're going to start with your posture. It's actually quite good but you need to move your hands a bit to the left." Daffodil gestures to the chair and Genevieve reluctantly adjusts her hands into the proper position. Once she does what she's told Daffodil erupts into rather loud applause and Genevieve smiles weakly.

Daffodil sinks back into her chair like that was the most exhausting thing she'd ever done and Genevieve fought the urge to tell her to stop slouching.

"What's next?"

"Walking, my dear." she pipes and runs off only to come back with the tallest pair of heels Genevieve has ever laid eyes on. They are uncomfortable to wear and at least three inches taller than the ones she wore at the reaping. The heels are so thin that she can barely stand.

Once she's mastered that Haven comes in and places books on her head which only adds to the annoyance. She considered herself good at interviews but surely this was overkill.

About halfway through her miserable attempts at walking Finnick and Caspian arrive at the door.

"What!" Daffodil snaps impatiently looking as though she might murder the two boys for interrupting her.

"There's someone at the door looking for you. I think her name was Effie." Finnick says and with that Daffodil runs off training forgotten. "You're welcome." He adds looking at Genevieve who could not be more grateful at that moment.

Genevieve gives a sigh of relief and kicks her high heels off nearly hitting Caspian in the face with one of them. Finnick laughs at the absolute look of shock on Caspian's face and comes over to flop down on the chair next to her

"I doubt you'll actually have to walk in heels that tall. For the interview I think you're just wearing normal heels and I suppose we don't need to train you for the interview since you already do that at the academy." Haven sighed, removing the books that were just about to fall off her head and smiling as Genevieve gave a dramatic sigh of relief, collapsing back onto the chair.

"It's probably time for lunch now anyway." Caspian declared his stomach grumbling in protest.

"Great, I'm starving." Genevieve hitched up her skirts and retreated back to her room to get changed into something that didn't make her look like some kind of ballerina dress up doll.
