sophia's pov~

i walk into the changing room, everyone is sat in their cubby's, getting ready for training. i walk over to mine, which is a few seats away from leah's, however hers is in a corner, getting the perfect view to mine, i'm going to have fun with this.
i feel her eyes burn into my back as i face the other way.
i drop my bag and start to get changed. deliberately taking long to put my shirt on, leaving my abs on show, just to give leah something else to gaze at.
yet again i feel her eyes burn into me.

as i finish up tying my boots, ella approaches me.
"ready?"

"er i think so"

"okay, come on out then"

. we all start warming up by running laps, before stretching.
i'm stood stretching in a little group, with beth, lucy, keira, and lauren- who i'm getting close to. the conversations flows easily.

"right get into your teams and we'll start with mini matches, ok everyone?" sarina announces.
"which am i on?" i ask alessia as she looks at the sheet.

"blue bibs"

"who with?"

"er i think beth and ella is on that one"
i nod and make my way over to the group whilst putting on my bib.

we are playing two matches, the first passing by quick. everything went well and i scored a few. no one was even close to me.

the coach blows the whistle for the second match to start.
the ball, after a few passes, goes straight to my feet, a great pass from beth. one by one i quickly get through the defenders. thats when i feel two hands on my back, shoving me down. i get up. already knowing who it was

"what the fuck leah" i say, quickly standing up and walking up to her.

"calm down, it was an accident" she says.

"you clearly shoved me"

"no i didn't"
"fucking bitch" she mumbles

"what was that princess?" i say, stepping closer. a smirk now laying on my face, knowing i got into her head. i know there's nothing she'll hate more than that. i know leah hates me flirting, she's good looking, so i do it a lot in matches against her. she hates me acting as if she's interested.

sarina sends us to her office, telling us to wait in there for a second. i hear her blow the whistle for the second match to start as we walk off the pitch.
we sit down in the chairs opposite her desk. i stare at leah, glaring. wishing i had some sort of power to hurt people with my eyes.

"okay you two, you need to get along. our opening match is tomorrow, we need to kick it off with a bang. that does not start with you two fighting in training. got it?

so you two are staying in this room until the end of training, you can join us again in the gym after, but you will be doing your workout together. you need to overcome this. i don't mind if you aren't friends, that's life. but you two cannot hate eachother. you two need to trust eachother. this team is our family, family don't hate. "

i look over at leah, her eyes focused on sarina. . and i can't help but notice how incredibly hot she is.
sarina leaves the room.
we sit in silence, all i can hear is my heavy breathing, still angry.

"why do you hate me so much?"
leah asks, i don't reply.
i'm sure i know why, i have a reason don't i?
nothing comes to my head. i know i hate her, i've known that since i layed eyes on her in the first match we played against eachother. but why was it. i spin from side to side on my chair, getting bored.

"sophia?" she asks again.

"what?"

"why'd you hate me so much?"
i shrug, standing up and open the door.
