Third person POV
Chase didn't return home until much later that night. His father was gone, so he quietly ascended the stairs. Upon reaching his brother Mike's room, he found Mike and Aria asleep together in Mike's bed. A small smile graced his lips as he approached, gently covering them with a blanket before switching off the TV and exiting the room.
Moving on to his mother's room, Chase cautiously pushed the door ajar. He found her peacefully asleep, alone in her bed. A sense of relief washed over him knowing his father wasn't there. With a sigh, he made his way to his own room and collapsed onto his bed, exhaustion weighing heavily on him after the hours of emotional turmoil and tears. Soon, sleep claimed him, offering a temporary respite from the turmoil of his thoughts and feelings.
