Love Notes

Bose's POV:

I was standing in the middle of the hallway, holding a love note in my friends, about to put it inside the locker of the prettiest girl in the whole school: Lula Elena Chapa De Silva.

Her and I have been friends for a while, and I don't know what it is, but there's something about her that makes me like her so much. Right now, I was scanning the hallways for her locker, while also making sure no one else saw me, and then, I came across her locker.

I checked around me once more to make sure no one saw what I was doing, and that's when I went for it. I carefully slid the note through the little opening on the locker, and I went back to class.

I had told my teacher that I needed to use the bathroom at the time so she wouldn't suspect a thing. When I came back to class, I pretended like everything was normal, and no one suspected a thing.

I really hope Chapa feels the same way about me, because if she does, everything in my life will be just perfect.

Chapa's POV:

I was pretty nervous for what I was about to do: I was about to put a love note in a locker. It was not just for a random guy, though, but the guy that I've started having feelings for since last year: Bose O'brien.

Bose and I have known each other for a long time now, and I've slowly started to develop feelings for him as the years went by. I wish I could talk to him just once without getting nervous. I really hope he feels the same way about me, because if he does, my life will be complete.

I approach his locker, make sure no one is around me, I quickly slide the note through his locker, and I return back to class. I told my teacher I needed to use the bathroom at the time, and when I went back to class, I pretended everything was normal.

When the bell rang, I went to my locker to gather my stuff for my next class. When I opened my locker, an envelope dropped out. I picked it up, opened it, and inside of it was a slip of paper, and this is what I read...

Your hair is winter fire
January embers
My heart burns there too

When I read that, I broke out into a smile. This might've been the sweetest thing I've ever read in my life. I guarantee that this was from Bose. It also shows that he's seen that movie, too.

I quickly snapped out of it, put the note in my jacket pocket, grabbed my stuff, closed my locker, and headed to my next class.

(At the same time...)

When I got to my locker, I opened it, and a postcard slipped out. I flipped it over, and I read what was on it...

No other human in the world could make me as happy as you could

(I came up with that one, I apologize if it was a bit lazy)

When I saw that, I instantly lit up. I really hope it was Chapa that gave me this note. If it was, my life would be so much better.

Wait, get it together, Bose. You need to get to class. I quickly grabbed my stuff out of my locker to head to my next class with.
