Chapa's POV:

After school today, Bose and I walked to the Man's Nest together, where the twins were already there. Once we said "hi" to each other and all that, the crime alert went off.

Me: "Dang it! We just got off school, now we have to deal with this?"

Bose: "For real."

Ray comes in when he hears the crime alert, and Mika immediately checks to see what's going on.

Mika: "Looks like Van-del is back at the Old Maple Grill."

Ray: "Wow, we haven't heard from that dude in years."

Miles: "What about his other paint friends?"

Mika: "Nope, it's just him this time."

Ray: "Well, we got to go stop him."

We all chew and blow, changing into our super selves, and AWOL teleports us to Van-del's location.

Captain Man: "Freeze, Van-del!"

Van-del: "Ah, Captain Man, I see you've arrived, and I see you have a new group of sidekicks."

Me: "We've been with him for a few years now, dude. Keep up."

Van-del: "My, my, somebody's testy today."

With that, I zap him until he stumbles back.

Me: "Care to say that again?"

Van-del: "Nope, I'm good."

Me: "That's what I thought."

Shout-Out uses her super scream to send Van-del flying across the room. The rest of us join in on the attack. When me and Brainstorm chase him up the stairs with a chained-off edge that leads to a huge thing of paint down below, we almost grab him, but he tricks us, and makes me slip off the stairs' ledge, but luckily, I grabbed onto the ledge before I completely fell.

Bose's POV:

Volt almost completely falls into the huge pool of paint, but she was able to grab on to the ledge before that happened. She was just hanging there, trying to pull herself back up, but she couldn't.

I tried to knock Van-del out of the way so I could get to her, and when I finally do, I get closer to Volt, I tell her to take my hand, which she does, then I grab her other hand, and I pull her back up.

Me: "Are you alright?"

Volt: "Yeah, I am. You... you saved me."

Me: "I couldn't leave you hanging."

With that, I hug Volt to assure her that she's alright, and she hugged me back. It seemed like we got lost in the warm hug, because we then heard this...

Captain Man: "Hey! Quick hugging each other and come help us!"

Realizing this, we pulled away and went over to where the others were. I lifted Van-del into the air with my powers, brought him over to where the paint pool was, and then, Volt used her powers to zap him again, and I let him go, completely covering him in red paint. When he stands up, he is a mess.

Van-del: "Dang it, not again!"

Volt: "Hey, nice paint job there."

We all laugh at that joke, then AWOL teleports Van-del back to prison. When he comes back, the rest of us head back to the Man's Nest and change back to our normal selves.

Mika: "Well, that was fun, but Miles and I are going to head home now and try to enjoy the rest of today."

Ray: "I got to go meet Credenza at Soto Voce."

Miles: "Oh, I've heard of that place. Isn't that where Henry basically transformed into a beast?"

Ray: "Yeah, that was a pretty intense moment. Welp, I'll see you all soon."

All (except Ray): "Byeee!"

Ray exits, as well as the twins. Now it's just Chapa and I. We both sit on the Man's Nest couch while trying to figure what to do next.

Chapa's POV:

This was the moment, this was the perfect moment to tell Bose about my feelings for him. But wait, what if he doesn't feel the same way? No way, he has to feel the same way. Screw it, I'm going in.

Me: "Uh, Bose?"

Bose: "Yeah?"

Me: "There's uh... something I think I should tell you."

Bose: "What's up?"

Me: "Well... first of all, we've been friends for a long time, right?"

Bose: "Yeah..."

Me: "Well, the thing is... I kind of see you as... more than just a friend."

Bose: "Like... a crush?"

Me: "Yeah, uh... I hope that didn't sound too weird."

Bose: "No, that wasn't weird at all. In fact, I feel the same way."

Me: "You do??"

Bose: "Yeah... it has been that way for a while."

Me: "Same for me, too, and I've been wanting to say something for a long time, and it looks I picked out the perfect opportunity to finally admit it."

Bose: "So... we both like like each other, what should we do now?"

Me: *flirt-like* "Does this answer your question?"

When I say that, I pull Bose into a kiss, and to my surprise, he kisses back. We were both enjoying it so much that we didn't want it to end. But we eventually had to stop in order to catch our breath.

In that moment, I knew one thing was for sure: Bose and I were now officially official.
