Few Days Later
Bose's POV:
Me and the rest of Danger Force came back from fighting crime, and it was almost MIDNIGHT! Must the villains wait until such an inconvenient time to do their evil deeds?! Wait, nevermind, they do that every single time.
Anyway, when we got back to the Man's Nest, it was dark. Ray turned the lights on with his handclap, once again showing how old he is.
Chapa: "My god, dude, you're so old."
Ray: "No, I'm not! I'm just... lazy!"
That might also be true.
Chapa: *scoffs* "Yeah, alright."
I smile when she does that. Everything about her is so cute. We still haven't told the others about our relationship yet, and we still didn't know when we would. The five of us turn back to our normal selves, and we're all still in our PJs.
Miles teleports himself and Mika back home. Ray exits the room to go back to bed, and Chapa and I are the only two in the Man's Nest.
Me: "Well, guess we should go home, too."
Chapa: "Yeah, I'm sure we're both tired."
Me: "Yeah, definitely."
Both of us are silent for a few seconds.
Chapa: "Actually...I'd love it if I could come with you to your house, so as long as your parents don't mind."
Me: "They won't, they pretty much let me do whatever. They're both out of the house right now, too."
Chapa: "Awesome."
Chapa and I walk to my house. When we got in, I turned the lights on, which were pretty blinding because of how dark it was outside. Chapa and I head upstairs to my room, but we don't turn that light on. Instead, we leave the hall light on, and I shut my door a tiny bit.
I climb into my bed, and Chapa lies down next to me. She turns to face me and gently places her arm across my chest, smiling. I smile back as I wrap both of my arms around her, and I slowly run my fingers through her hair.
Her hair is really soft. This made Chapa smile more, and I could tell she was enjoying it. We're both cuddled close together, and with one last comforting look at each other, we share a kiss and share a warm "I love you" before slowly drifting off to a deep sleep.
