SUOH WATCHED the urban landscape from the rooftop of the school, which offered a sanctuary of solitude. He stood at the edge, his silhouette framed by the warm hues of the rising sun. The golden light bathed the rooftop in a soft, ethereal glow, casting long, elongated shadows that seemed to dance with the breeze.
The same breeze ruffled his hair, carrying with it the scent of freshly cut grass and the distant city sounds. He let the cool touch of the wind wash over him, the hair on the back of neck stood on end, the unmistakable energy that unaccompanied him was recognizable. He could recognize him by smell, footstep even by his shadow.
Behind him, stood Min-Joon, about 6'0, his frame was lean and athletic. Dark, tousled locks of black hair framed his face in a fluffy cascade that danced along the wind. The strands fell just below his neck, he aroused a confident aura. His eyes, deep and inky black, stared at Suoh's back passionately. He wore a crisp white shirt, neatly pressed, his tie was meticulously knotted. His black dressing pants were neat and the faint smell of cologne filled the air.
Min-Joon smiled, watching as the light filled Suoh's concentrated face. Suoh's dark black hair fell in a gentle cascade that framed his face, obscuring his eyes ever so slightly. The strands seemed to have a mind of their own as they danced with the breeze. Beneath his hair, his youthful face exuded a certain innocence, framed by high, elegantly arched brows that lent an air of softness to his features. His lips were a subtle pout, full and expressive, adding a touch of vulnerability to his otherwise composed countenance. They held a natural, rosy hue, a testament to his inherent youthfulness and vitality.
"Suoh." Min-Joon called out. His voice deep, resonating like the low, steady rumble of thunder on a stormy night. It held a richness and timbre that seemed to vibrate in the very narrow of Suoh's bones, sending shivers cascading down his spine. His name felt as if it held a weight and gravitas that commanded attention.
"Min-Joon!" Suoh called out excitedly. His voice so soft it gently caressed Min-Joon's ears, a tender murmur that seemed to wrap around his body like a comforting embrace. Perhaps it was how he said his name, or the warmth and sincerity that resonated like an unspoken promise of safety and trust.
"Hey." Min-Joon said, smiling down at Suoh, who tilted his head. "You said you had something important to tell me." Suoh stated, grinning up at his best-friend, his gaze was fixed, unwavering, he looked concerned. His eyes searched Min-Joon's unwavering face, as if trying to glean any signs of how he was feeling.
"Yeah, I know." Min-Joon said, his hands tucked into the pockets of his pants. Looking towards Suoh's face he smiled. "I wanted to let you know that I have a girlfriend."
There was a pause, a pregnant moment of silence hung in the air. "It's a fairly new thing, I value our friendship a lot, wouldn't want you to find out from someone else and not from me."
Suoh's smile seemed to waver, his lips turned into a frown as he took a step back. His once bright and lively eyes held a distant, hollow look. His shoulders were squared, his posture straight, and a forced smile played at the corner of his lips.
