Finally, the day has come. The day where I find out if my club has been approved or not. It's finally here, but I have to wait for the results till after school. All I have to is wait, but that's going to be hard.

I woke up the same as usual. Messy hair and barely open eyes. I yawned like a that bear finished hibernation. I do my stretches and get ready for school. I'm unusually more sleepy than usual today. I squirt my toothpaste onto my toothbrush. I begin to brush my teeth, when it tastes funny. I realized that this isn't toothpaste. It's hand soap!

"Arghh, what the hell?!"

Great, I nearly poisoned myself after coming back from the hospital a day ago. This is starting to go real nice..

I dress in my school uniform and head to school. The paper boy passes by me on his bike. The neighbors come out to their doorstep to collect the daily paper.

"Good morning, Zenon. Are you feeling alright?" they ask with a cheery voice as I walk past them.

"Yes, I am feeling much better."

After what seemed like hours of good morning's and hello's, I got to school. As I walk into the school through the gates, a guy walking in the opposite direction bumps my shoulder.

"Hey, watch it. Stupid idiot."

I turned to face that guy. He had long blond hair with bangs that covered one eye. His pupils were red and he had a scar on his cheek. He was around my height. What a thug-looking a-hole.

"Sorry, I guess. Maybe you should watch where you go next time," I replied. At least I gave a positive attitude.

"Huh. Want to start something, big guy?"

He looked at me with glaring red eyes. He clenched his fists and spit on the ground. He walked up to me and raised his fist towards my face. Just when he was about to strike, the bell rang.
---------------------
I looked out the window of my classroom. The classroom was full of loud students, who I guess felt too lazy to go to the cafeteria during lunch time. But why hang out in the same classroom as me? I thought about this morning's incident with the blond guy.

Right when he was about to punch me, the bell rang. I braced myself for the impact, but it never came. I opened my eyes and saw his fist barely touching my nose. He lowered his fist and started to walk to the building.

"I was going to buy a drink from the convenience store down the block, but oh well. Thanks for killing my time."

I just looked as he disappeared into the building. Hey, at least he cares about his studies.

I never knew his name and I didn't see him around the school. But who cares, he is just another human being and my goal is to avoid them as much as possible, so I guess that's good.

---------------------
I wandered the halls, as many youthful students ran, laughed, and there was even a romantic corner, where the couples spend hours, mashing each others' face into one another. You'd think they were trying to bite off each others' lips or suck their tongues out. I kept walking, when I heard my name calling from the office.

"Hey, Zenon!"

I looked at saw Ms. Adriana waving an envelope. I hurriedly ran to her.

"Your club has been approved!" Ms. Adriana exclaimed.

I was so happy when I heard that. I have reached the turning point in my life.

"Thank you, Ms. Adriana!" I said with a big smile, "but why are you giving this to me now? Wasn't I supposed to know after school?"

"Yeah, but I have to go somewhere today. I got a date! About time someone realized my beauty," Ms. Adriana said proudly. "You're in your youth stage, you should find a person you like and date them. Who knows where it may go afterwards, hmmm?" she teased.

Can you get anymore cockier? I mean how good can it be to on a date? You're just hanging out with another person. Why is it so different on dates? I just don't get it.

"Actually I think I am better off by myself, you know. Like a lone wolf. I don't need a date."

"If you say so then. Get to your next class. Lunch is about to end. See you later, kid," Ms. Adriana said as she patted my head.

---------------------
The last bell rang. School finally ended. I stayed behind as everyone else piled out the door like cattle. I took out the envelope and ripped it open. In it was a letter and a flyer.

The letter read, "I may have changed a bit of the club details, but it should still be the same. Oh and don't forget to hang the flyers. Congratulations and have fun at your new club!"

I looked at the flyer. The flyer said, "If you have no friends, boyfriend, girlfriend, or just have nothing to do, come to the "Loners can be friends club." We can have lots of together and have a wonderful youth together! Club president is Zenon, so if you want to join, talk to him. Good luck and have fun!"

I had no words and just stared at this paper. What the hell is this crap? This isn't my club. That lousy teacher. I felt the inner rage slowly building up inside me.

"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS CRAP! I DIDN'T SIGN UP FOR THIS!" I yelled with such rage that my eyes could've shot laser beams if it wanted.

I crumpled the flyer and threw into the trash can. I angrily went home and jumped on my bed. Maybe it just isn't meant to be that I spend my youth alone. Ugh and I was so excited too. Damn it all. This is why I don't talk to anyone. Angry and disappointed, I just hit the sack. Tomorrow is when she's going to hear my complaints. So much that she will have no choice, but to fix it.
