"What is this piece of junk? This is not an essay!"

"Trust me, Ms. Adriana. I tried my best on this essay, I swear," I said.

Ms. Adriana is my homeroom teacher and she assigned me an essay after to make up for the 3 weeks of school I missed. I don't recall what happened but I guess I was in an accident or something.

"I said the essay should be about animals in the wild, not humans. Idiot Zenon," Ms. Adriana said to me.

"This essay does make sense. Humans are wild animals. The group of guys in the back of the classroom act like brainless monkeys. If that is not wild, I don't know what is. And you shouldn't be calling your students idiots," I replied.

Ms. Adriana stood up and said, "I don't know what you have been through and what animals you've seen, but this essay is just awful. Write another in 2 weeks and I will give you an animal to write about. Write about lions."

"Yes, I will," I groaned.

As I stood up to leave the classroom, she handed me a piece of paper. I looked at the paper and it was a form of some sort.

"In this school, you have to be part of a club. Whether you participate in it, it's up to you, but you have to be in one," Ms. Adriana explained, "or you could just make your own club if you don't like the options."

I told myself that I wouldn't engage in any unnecessary socializing in the beginning of school, but now I have to join a club. That is some bullsh- Wait, I could make my own club. What if I created a club that no one wants to join? I quickly took out a pen and wrote the name if the club on the blank space where it said, "Club name." After scribbling a bunch of random answers to the questions about the new club, I was done.

"What is this club? "The Loners Club?" What the heck does this club do exactly?" Ms. Adriana asked.

Like a nerd who explains 1+1 like a Calculus equation, I answered, "It is a club where people with no friends, boyfriend, girlfriend, or just has nothing to do comes in and does whatever they want."

I felt so genius. Everyone in this school has things to go to and people to meet, except me. So only I would be in it.

"I see.. Well, I will take this to the person in charge of the clubs and if they approve, congratulations, I think. I will let you know by tomorrow," Ms. Adriana said.

I left school and went home. For the first time in a long time, I felt excited to go to school. During lunch time and afterschool, I could have hours to myself. I took a quick shower and ate a small dinner. I played video games for an hour and got ready for bed. I looked at the clock, it read 10:00. About 8-9 hours till I get the results on my club. I was really that I couldn't sleep. My excitement doesn't usually last this long. But I was excited about tomorrow. I fell asleep anyways after 5 minutes. Guess I will find out tomorrow.
