Ayumu's POV:
I stumbled into the room where the livestream was supposed to be held. This was so embarrassing, I was late for my first ever collaboration stream. I remember praying and hoping that Yu-chan was there distracting them.
I couldn't believe that I was late to the collab, not to mention the one that I initiated in the first place...
When I walked into the room I breathed a sigh of relief. Kazuki-san wasn't there yet. I was actually really curious to see who this mysterious person was. I had been so immersed with the female idol industry that I had absolutely no clue about who was leading the male idol industry.
I know, I know, most people would probably be aware of who was on the rise and things like that, but for me it was just Yu-Chan and the rest of Nijigasaki.
I greeted the staff and went on to the back to one of the changing rooms.
Once I had finished my preparation I was ready to go back out there. It appeared that Kazuki-san was back and we were just about to begin.
I still wasn't able to get a good look at him, seeing as a bunch of staff were surrounding him making him camera ready.
The next thing I knew the producer dropped off the little script we were to read off of and the cameraman held up a three, two, one.
"Good morning everyone! My name is Ayumu Uehara and today I would like to welcome everyone to a special livestream. One that apparently a lot of people have been asking for. He is one of the lead male idols in the industry currently. Kazuki Fujimoto!"
I applauded along with the rest of the staff. As I turned my head to finally glance at this guy, I smiled brightly. After all...
This was the first time I had ever met him.
We continued the livestream and read off the script, reading fan letters, and somewhat getting to know each other. He told me that the reason he became an idol was to follow someone that he really admired.
I told him that I became an idol to break out of my shell and to hopefully inspire someone that I knew.
"Funnily enough... his name was Kazuki too!" I remember laughing to which he gave a sort of surprised expression. An expression that somewhat puzzled me, however he laughed it off and just said that it was quite coincidental that their names were the same.
Which is true, why in the world would the Kazuki I met in middle school become an idol... right?
As we did a few games as well as answered questions from the chat, I read something that I thought was quite interesting.
"Can you do a joint concert?" I read aloud and turned to him excitedly. "Should we?"
"It's up to you." he shrugged.
"Then it's settled then." I stared straight into the camera. "Kazuki Fujimoto and I will be holding a joint concert!"
And that's how the livestream came to an end. With an addition to the story.
After all this was the livestream where I met him.
And the livestream...
before he was mine.
