As we were walked I heard a way to familiar sound. I looked at Vi and realized she heard it too. We both started to run as fast as we could over to our friend and Caitlyn. "Caitlyn!" She shouted "Ekko!" I said as I saw his body on the ground. Just then we saw a bunch of firelights fly past us. We both slowed down and looked at them. They then started to explode everywhere. I got down as Vi held me close to her.
I heard boots walking and humming and I knew it was jinx. "Hey come on" I heard Vi whisper to me as we got up. Then we both heard a shot but not from an enforcer gun. We both ran over to Caitlyn and Ekko. "Hey hey hey wake up Ekko come on" I said lightly smaking his face. He started to come too and I handed him his bored. "Thank god your ok" "I feel like shit" "you look like shit" we chuckled a bit. I looked over to Vi and saw Jinx looking at Vi and Caitlyn. She started shooting as them as Vi pushed Caitlyn away. I blinked and Ekko was already on his way over. As they were fighting I ran over to Vi as she pointed to Caitlyn. We got up and over to her and helped her up.
Ekko was not the only thing separating us from Jinx. He turned and threw the bag back to me. "GO!" He shouted as they turned around. I hesitated but then went with them. I looked and saw Vi staring over at Jinx with tears in her eyes. "Hey lets go" I said as Vi snapped back to her senses.
We were at the edge of the bridge when an explosion was heard from behind us. I turned around and fell to my knees. All I could do was...scream. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!" I screamed as I punched the ground over and over again. "WHY WHY WHY" "hey hey look at me" Vi said putting Caitlyn down as rushing over to me. "Hey stop look at me please." "EKKO WAS JUST A KID VI. JINX WAS JUST A KID!!!" I shouted with tears on my face.
"I know I know, but we need to get out of her now." She said holding my face as she wiped her tears and mine away. "Lets go" she stood uo and grabbed my hands. We grabbed Caitlyn and walked off.
