Oil and water (part 18)

I jumped on top of a roof and watched as the rain clouds started to roll in. "Oh great" I rolled my eyes. I didn't leave though since I was use to sitting in the rain. "Vi wait" I heard from below me. "Where are you going?" I saw Caitlyn calling out to Vi but I couldn't hear what she said since she spoke so low. I dropped down a few levels and was able to hear them.

"You can't" she said "this is how things are. How they have always been. I was so stupid to think it could change" she put her hands on her hips. "Y/n was right" "there must be something else we can do. There must be another way" Cait said trying to comfort Vi. "We have to try" she said. "We did. We tried and it wasn't enough" Vi said back "topside and bottom. Oil and water. Thats it" she said as I moved in closer now standing behind Vi. "What about us?" Cait motioned to us three. "Oil and water" Vi said grabbing my hand and walking away from Cait.

"Okok slow down, what happened in there?" I asked as Vi started to explain the meeting to me. "Ok well obviously that guy wants a fight so why don't we go talk to him" I said walking away from Vi having her follow me. "I did a lot of heists up here for my clients so I know my way around." I said finding the place that this guy likes to do his work at.

"Ok you go" "wait why haven't you been coming with me?" She turned and asked me. "Im an assassin Vi. They know me and they wont listen to anything you say if they know me" I said giving her a seriously look. "I mean Jayce might listen to you but only if you go without me first. Once he is hooked, then mention me" I said as she nodded and went in.

I was once again on a roof top because I cant just wait around down there. I saw Vi come out looking for me. "Who are you looking for?" Jayce asked "me" I said jumping down "yall are working together?!" He questioned as he was about to call enforcers "wait man chill. Im not here to kill you. Im here to help yall with this Silco thing" "but don't you work for him?" "Common misconception" I said as me and Vi walked off "you commin" I said as he jogged over.

"Ok so, the workers will load the train and then it will leave through these big doors" I said pointing at a map I drew out. "We need someone to be on this train and as it is leaving find a way to make this train come back. They wont be expecting it and we can come out to surprise them" I said with a fist in the middle of this circle. "Just remember they have shimmer and are probably not afraid to use it" "got it" they said as we went off.

Me and Vi we're hiding as we saw what those enforcers were doing. "I still don't like there methods" I said as Vi nodded. "Its all we got right now" she said holding my hand. Just then we heard the sirens blaring. "Fuck" i said putting my mask on and grabbing my gun. "Get ready to fight" I told Vi. "Wait what do you-" she was cut off by the shimmer armed guards throwing the enforcers off the ledge.

"Come on" I said as we jumped down by Jayce. "Ok listen up" I said as we were quickly being surrounded "these guys are not invincible just hit them quick and get out fast" I said "and aim for the glass if that breaks they can't breathe in the shimmer and will eventually die down." "Got it" they said as they started to attack.
