SPRING OF 2022...

IN REAL LIFE

Manhattan NY, Juliette's Apartment

"𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐇𝐀𝐕𝐄 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘 𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝐈𝐂𝐄,"

Clara observes, jiggling her glass of lemonade and taking a sip. Yum.

Her sister, Juliette May Blunt, glances over from the bright-purple guitar across her body. A momentary recess from her work, one she allowed rarely.

"It's literally ice, Cal," she responds. She turns back to the notebook in front of her crossed legs, strumming a chord. "It's the same ice as always."

"Iiiiiii don't think so," Clara sings, drinking another gulp before setting it down on a nightstand and hopping over to the window-wall in her sister's bedroom. The tiny apartment outlooked courtyard Soho and was basically hidden within the identical brick buildings lining the road.

Which was good, considering Juliette was a minor with 2 albums that sold 15 million copies worldwide. And that was separately.

Their parents, who you might know if you HAVEN'T been living under a rock for the last 15 years, bought this place for Juliette after it was proven that Jules worked better in her own space. And if Jules worked better than she could make more albums and therefore create a life for herself.

You may be thinking, "Is it safe for a 16-year-old girl to live on her own 2/3 of a year?". They haven't figured that out yet.

Jules had gone back to piecing together a song she was working on. It was either a sad one again or... a sad one. Jules wasn't branching out yet. Clara continued to peoplewatch the streets below, shifting between snapping photos of funny-looking hats to send to Momo or scrolling through Insta.

"Hey did you get Anything But You?" Jules asks.

Clara puts her phone down and climbs up next to Jules. "Yep!" She smiles, resting her chin on her sister's shoulder. "Found out like two days ago."

Clara is an actress. Or trying to be. So far she'd been in a few roles, but you would think that being the daughter of Emily Blunt and Jim Halpert, that you would book more parts. Sadly, nepotism was making itself scarce for Clara. Kidding!

All she needs is something that would get her rolling, making producers notice her. And as cool as it was that she would be in the same film as Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell, she doesn't think a 4-scene-max role would be her spotlight.
