Friday
Cheryl is in the student lounge sleeping with a blanket over her body. Cheryl hasn't been sleeping like she's supposed to be. All this shit with Toni and School has been wearing her out.
Her friends come in to see the redhead sleep on the couch. Veronica walks over Cheryl.
"Cher? Wake up, honey." Ronnie said softly.
The redhead wakes up, eyes red as her hair. She couldn't sleep last night. Cheryl sits up slowly.
Cheryl yawns. "Sorry guys." Cheryl rubs her eyes and stretches.
"It's okay. We know you got your hands full girl. You could've came over my house last night Cheryl." Josie said.
"I didn't want to intrude, Josie. Besides, I needed to watch over Toni just in case the ghoulies tried to finish the job." Cheryl said tiredly.
Kevin hands Cheryl some fruit and water.
"Here, you need to eat and drink." Kevin said with a small smile.
"Thank you, Kev. I haven't eaten anything all day. The hospital food sucks." Cheryl bites into her apple.
"Cheryl do you need us to rotate being at the hospital with Toni? We don't mind." Reggie asked sitting down beside the redhead.
"Maybe so. I've been so tried. Dealing with Toni, school, and the gangs. I'm pushing myself way beyond my limit." Cheryl said laying back.
Archie speaks up. "Cheryl, do you need to go home?" Archie asked in concern.
"No, I need to stay strong for Toni." Cheryl said with her eyes closed.
Ronnie puts the blanket on Cheryl's body. Cheryl goes back to sleep.
Bughead walks in and they frown.
"Hey guys what's going on?" Jughead asked eating a bag of chips.
"Nothing. Just watching over Cheryl." Archie said pointing to the sleeping redhead.
"So, are you guys going to see Toni today?" Betty asked looking over at her sleeping cousin.
"Yes, we are. We're giving Cheryl a break. She needs one." Ronnie said as she plays a cooking game on her phone.
"Look guys, I know we might not be the two people you guys want to see right now, but we just want to see how Toni is doing?" Jughead said to his friends.
"She's hasn't woken up yet." Reggie said with an attitude.
"What's with the attitude, Reggie?" Jughead questions the Asian boy.
Reggie stand up from his spot.
"Jones, you got a lot of nerve to asking how Toni is. I don't want to wake up, Red hot and tell her that you guys are here. You really want to feel her wrath right now?" Reggie questions.
"Toni is my friend." Jughead said. "Like I care what Cheryl says. She wasn't born a serpent."
"Neither were you or Betty. You know how many times you've denied by joining the serpents. When you got your ass kicked you realized you needed them, then you kick Toni out of a gang she grew up in. She's a serpent by blood and it's her legacy to be queen and you know it." Reggie hisses in anger.
"Since when do you care about Toni?" Betty asked.
"Since the night you kicked her out and she was drunk off her ass crying about how she wanted to break your fucking face for kicking her out of the gang she grew up in. I was so close of coming to find you Jones to break your jaw for Toni, but I want to get out of Riverdale." Reggie spits.
