As dawn broke on the new day, Seokjin's eyes fluttered open, his vision clouded by tears and his throat parched from the anguish of his grief. The weight of his loss bore down on him like a crushing burden, leaving him feeling empty and desolate.
Remembering the events of the previous day, a fresh wave of sorrow washed over him, threatening to engulf him once more. He lay there, unmoving, unable to muster the strength to rise from his bed. All he wanted was to surrender to the darkness, to escape the pain and be reunited with Taehyung in the afterlife.
He cared not for who might witness his despair, his tears flowing silently as he remained cocooned in the solitude of his anguish. In that moment, the world around him faded into insignificance, consumed by the overwhelming ache of his heartache.
As tears streamed down his cheeks, Seokjin's mind wandered back to the cherished moments he had shared with Taehyung before their parting.
"Promise me you'll come to see me the eve before our wedding," Seokjin had pleaded, his voice tinged with longing as he gazed at Taehyung with a soft pout.
Taehyung's laughter, like a melody in the wind, filled the room as he leaned in to press a tender kiss upon Seokjin's lips. "Ah, your lips, so full and lush," he mused, his eyes sparkling with affection as they locked with Seokjin's. "I shall return to you before you realize I've gone," he vowed, his words a balm to Seokjin's troubled heart.
The memory, though bittersweet, brought a fleeting smile to Seokjin's lips amidst his tears.
In the soft glow of their intimate moment, Seokjin couldn't help but giggle as Taehyung planted wet kisses along the trail from his neck down to his stomach. The air was filled with a shared warmth, a lingering connection after their love-making.
Taehyung, with a tender pause at Seokjin's stomach, traced gentle caresses as his eyes held a hopeful and loving gaze. Seokjin couldn't contain his laughter, playfully urging, "Enough, Tae," as he reveled in the affectionate attention.
Taehyung's grin was radiant as he looked up at Seokjin, his gaze filled with adoration. Leaning in to press a kiss to Seokjin's stomach, he whispered, "Five, let's have five children," before continuing his descent to shower Seokjin's thighs with affection.
The words, filled with hope and love, swelled Seokjin's heart with happiness. With a nod of agreement and a soft moan of pleasure, he surrendered to the warmth of their shared dreams.
Amidst the shattered fragments of their countless promises, Seokjin's heart felt as though it were splintering into a million pieces. Each vow they had exchanged, to love and cherish one another for eternity, to build a future filled with laughter and children, now lay broken and scattered at his feet.
Taehyung had been Seokjin's entire world, his reason for living, and now that he was gone, Seokjin found himself adrift in a sea of despair. The emptiness that engulfed him was suffocating, leaving him gasping for breath as he struggled to find meaning in a world without his beloved.
Lost in his thoughts and consumed by his tears, Seokjin was jolted from his thoughts by a subtle shift beside him. For a fleeting moment, hope flickered in his chest, as if Taehyung had returned to him. But as reality crashed down upon him, he saw that it was his younger brother, Namjoon, stirring from slumber.
As Namjoon stirred from his slumber, his eyes immediately fell upon his brother's pallid and worn visage, the aftermath of relentless tears evident upon his features. A pang of anguish shot through Namjoon's heart, his resolve wavering in the face of Seokjin's pain. Summoning what little strength he could muster, Namjoon offered his brother a tender smile, a silent gesture of reassurance.
