Luna's POV
The next morning I was very anxious since morning till lunch break. Kai said last night we need to talk after class.
I'm not in the mood to eat at the cafeteria so I just stayed here in classroom and do some studying.
But I can't focus.
Is he gonna break up with me?
There's no reason for him to do that!
Then should I blame him for me being sad last night?
Opening up your feelings, telling him what's bothering you isn't a bad idea as well, duh.
I know! I know!
Then what?
I think I'm just afraid.
Afraid of what?
Afraid of getting left behind...
...
"Nice game last night Luna!"
"???" I was so deep in my thoughts I never noticed one of my classmate is already sitting in front of me.
It was our class president. His name is Skye.
"I'm not in the mood pres."
"What? I just said nice game last night. What's wrong with that?"
What's wrong is I don't want to talk about what happened last night to other people!
"Yeah. I really don't wanna talk about Kai's stream."
"I didn't watch his stream tho. Not a fan sorry."
"Then what are you talking about?"
"Your game with Zen! Dummy."
"???"
"???"
"Are you saying that Sol is Zen?"
"Yes, sweety."
"How did you even know we were playing together?"
"We were in a discord call last night. He was streaming his games."
"Ahh."
Zen Rodriguez. My mysterious classmate. All I know about him is, he's addicted to games. Like super. He's always carrying a handheld console anywhere. ANYWHERE, literally. Every time I see him he's always so fixated in his gaming. It's like it's the only thing he does in school. It's a miracle he's still getting passing grades, and on top of that, he's also in the pilot section.
Imagine those neet characters that you watch in animes. He is like that. Except that he is not getting bullied, because he's tall and... Handsome. He's not popular like Kai, but the reason Zen doesn't stand out like Kai, is because he always wears hoodies and he's also wearing eyeglasses. So his facial features aren't that noticeable by others.
"Anways, you were very good blah blah blah" Skye continued talking about our game last night but I really didn't focus that much.
I was wondering why Zen invited me in game last night. It was the first time he did that. I even forgot how he ended up on my friend's list. We are not close, not even friends. I just know him because he is a classmate.
It was probably a random game invite.
Yeah that must be it. I should not be assuming things.
"And he said that you were pretty good."
"Sorry?"
"Zen. He said that your support skills were pretty good."
"What's his rank by the way? I checked the profile of the account he used last night but it was unranked."
"His main account is challenger. He just made that account 'Sol' to--ahh ahh" he stopped talking because Zen was pulling his ears.
"Hey, he was talking to me." I said.
Skye looked at me like a cute puppy asking for help but Zen just stared at me for a few seconds then continued dragging Skye by the ear.
Meh. I can ask Skye some other time about it.
I just continued my studying but something outside the window caught my eye.
It was Kai, with another girl. The girl was holding a box and giving it to Kai, but he refused it with his hand gesture. The girl left while crying.
I should be happy with that scenario, that my boyfriend is declining other girls' feelings because he already has a girlfriend. He already has ME.
But for some reason, my heart is feeling something else.

3rd Person's POVThe sun was high in the sky, casting long shadows across the classroom. Luna sat at her desk, her fingers drumming against the wooden surface. Her eyes were on the clock, watching as the hands inched closer to the end of the afternoon class. Her mind, however, was elsewhere.
She was thinking about Kai. The previous night had been an unusual one. Kai had been hosting one of his regular live streams. Luna often joined him in these sessions, both of them a perfect team in this game, just as they were in reality.
However, last night, a new player had joined their game - a girl who went by the IGN Kitty Katty. She was skilled, there was no denying that, but there was something about her that had set Luna's instincts on edge. Kat seemed overly familiar with Kai. Luna had watched as Kat and Kai battled side by side in the game, a knot of unease growing in her stomach. She had tried to brush it off, telling herself that she was just being paranoid. But the feeling had persisted, a nagging doubt that she couldn't shake off.
Luna's mind is buzzing with questions. Who was Kat? And why was she so familiar with Kai? Luna trusted Kai, but she couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy and confusion.
Now, as she walked towards Kai, she knew they had to talk about it. She had to know what was going on. As the distance between them becomes closer, she looked into his eyes, a mix of anticipation and anxiety churning within her. "Kai," she began, her voice steady, "we need to talk."
