Chapter 2: My Streamer Boyfriend

Luna's POV:

I sat down in front of my computer as I put down a cup of coffee on the side of my table.

I boot my pc and while waiting for it, I take a sip of my coffee and scroll down on instagram on my phone.

"Don't miss out on the stream tonight at 7pm! See you later guys!" -- Kai's post on insta with a picture of him with his friends.

As usual, I read the comments and as expected, most comments are written by his fangirls.

"You're so handsome Kai!"

"Ofc I'll watch you babe, wouldn't miss a stream of you 😘"

"Are you a top laner? Cuz you can always be on top of me baby."

I just facepalm as I continued to read the comments on his photo. All these girls are drooling over my boyfriend. If you're wondering if I am bothered by it, no I'm not. At first yes, I was kinda jealous of the girls who say things like these to him. But as time went by, I became used to it. They are just fangirls. They can drool all they want but I am his girlfriend so I have nothing to worry about.

Nothing to worry about?

Yes! Nothing to worry about. Why would I ever think of something like that.

I opened my browser and went on twitch. It's already 6:55 pm so he's about to start streaming. I also opened my league client. Kai usually plays some normal games with me at the start of his stream, before he plays ranked matches.

And nope, I don't join him in his ranked games. For those of you who don't know, our rank in this game has so much gap. He is in challenger rank (the highest one that you can achieve) and I'm on platinum only (it's like in the middle) so I really can't join him. Besides, even if the game allows us to play together in rank, I will still choose not to join. He will be matched up with other challenger players, players with the same skills as him, and I don't want to be a burden.

Anyway, I'm already content that he still plays with me on normal games. Makes me feel special, because even if he's already a challenger player, he still chooses to play with me even if I'm not as skilled as he is.

I opened the discord and joined their call. He usually plays with his friends and I'm always the fifth player (always the one that's being carried xD)

But this night is different. I was the 6th person on the call... I already think that I might not be able to join their game...

"H-hey Luna!" said Kai.

"Hi! I guess you guys are already full?" A team can only consist of five members.

"No no, join them Luna, I'll join them later in rank games." Jon said, one of Kai's friends. He then left the discord call.

Kai invited me to the game lobby. And sure enough, there's one new name that I see. Her IGN is "Kitty Katty", and her name on the discord call is "kat". She talks very comfortably with Kai and his friends, so she's probably already close with them.

It's not the first time that Kai has played with  girls other than me. I usually don't mind them. But on this one, I feel that something is off.

Stop it Luna. Do not overthink without a basis.

I set aside the thought and planned to just focus on the game. Kai starts his streams as usual, greeting his fans and everything.

Just a little info on the game we are playing, it is composed of five players and each of us should have a specific role: top laner, jungler, mid, adc, and support.

Kai usually picks adc and I'm his support. Its been that way ever since. Except tonight... Kai still chooses to be the adc but their new friend auto locks the support... Soooo.. i have no choice but to pick a different role. I went mid.
