It's time

Leah's POV:

They both quickly agreed to spaghetti, Niamh admitted it was one of her favourites which made me release a breath I didn't know I was holding in, I mean I am glad she wanted it too so I wouldn't be the only one to blame if it went wrong. Niamh went into the kitchen and began to cook, whilst me and Rachel stayed and watch the show, it feels so long since I was sat somewhere so comfortable.

As soon as Niamh called us into the dining room for food I was quick to join her, it has been a while since I was able to sit in the kitchen and eat a home cooked dinner. I quickly eat the food in case it was taken away at any given moment.

"Woah there, slow down honey, it's not going to be taken away." I simply nod my head before going back to eating, just a little slower than I was before.

Not long after I am guided to the room I am sleeping in tonight, it's down the hall from the room that they are in. I don't know what time we are going to the clinic tomorrow but I think it's in the morning because of how long the procedure takes. I say goodnight to them both before making. My way to my bed and falling straight asleep, I haven't been in such a comfortable bed before, I feel as though I'm sleeping on a cloud.

Time skip~

Rachel's POV:

It's the next day and to say I'm nervous is an understatement, we are currently at the hospital with Leah as she is laid on her hospital bed. She is about to go under and have the surgery, with this both me and Niamh are then going to have to go under for surgery so they can include our DNA. From there they will implant Leah back inside my uterus allowing me to have her in my belly, I'm well aware of the risks and so is Leah which is why she is so nervous I think.

She is fiddling with her fingers as she looks down into her lap, they are currently hooking her up to all of the wires and placing her in a surgery cap and gown. I can't help but feel the anxiety and excitement all at once. Leah will go into surgery three hours before us so we get a chance to comfort her a little and say goodbye.

"Leah, everything will be okay. I know your going to worry but we will look after you okay." She nods her head a little as she looks up at us both.

Suddenly the doctor walks into the room he has a big smile on his face, he checks over Leah's numbers before walking over to the papers on the end of her bed.

"So Leah how are you feeling?" He asks with a soft smile, most likely wanting to comfort her.

" 'm okay." He nods his head before turning to the both of us.

"And which of you is carrying?" He gestures and I blush a little.

"I am." He nods his head with a smile.

"Okay I understand that we are having a complete transfer." I look to Leah wanting to see if there is any sign of her not wanting a complete transfer but she doesn't show anything.

"Great, well Leah we will get you started, Mrs Grant and Mrs Mathew we will be back shortly to get you both ready." He nods his head before a group of nurses come over to wheel Leah out of the room, I can tell she is nervous and I would be nervous too but she just nods her head before looking straight ahead not saying a word.

"God baby I'm so nervous." I mumble as I walk straight into Niamh's arms and give her a big hug.

"I know baby it's okay, let's just sit down for a little bit before we are needed to be prepped." I nod my head as I basically sit on her lap in the chair wanting to be as close to her as possible. I stare off into space as I let myself dream of what could be.
