Radhika Sharma POV

I was going through some last-minute details on my computer. My heart was beating so fast, like it was racing with some horse, and the Dibba sitting beside me was not helping it either.

"Dibbe, stop shaking your legs." I yelled at my best friend, aka Athrav Chowdhury, and concentrated back on my computer.

"Mikky, did it come?" he asked, still shaking his legs anxiously. I glared at him and shook my head.

"Yar, please tell Dadi to stop ringing the bell. It's not helping my weak heart," he said dramatically, keeping his hand on his chest.

I took a deep breath before uttering, "Okay, let's do one thing: you check my result, and I will check yours." He grabbed his laptop and placed it on my lap.

I got up from my seat to give him the place and sat on my bed. I saw my room's door slowly opening, and my mother came inside with some snacks.

"So, did the result come?" my mother asked, and I shook my head.

"There's still five minutes left, Mumma," I said, patting my chest to calm my racing heart.

My mother kept her hand on my shoulder and spoke, "Calm down. It's not necessary to crack the NEET on the first attempt. There are many chances; you can try again. So, stop stressing yourself, Kishori." She said, and I looked at her, stunned.

"Mumma, why are you being negative already? The result hasn't even come, and you're already assuming the worst," I said, making a crying face. She was already preparing me for failure.

"Result came! RESULT CAME!"

"Shh... Stop shouting, Dibbe. I'm sure every human being must have heard you," I said, covering my ears.

"Uhm, sorry, Dayan, but the result came. Now, please check it," he said, making faces.

"If I will check yours, then who will check mine, huh?" I said, glaring at the stupid fellow.

"Yeah, yes, I will check it. Wait." I shook my head in frustration and started filling in the details on the result page.

As I was filling in the details, my mind suddenly went blank.

Ye Dibbe ka naam kya hai?

(What is the name of this trash-can?)

What the heck... How could I forget his name? Must be the habit of calling him Dibba that took over me... (my subconscious mind mocks me).

I looked at my mother and gave her some signals, asking her about Dibba's name, but it seemed she didn't understand what I was saying. I had no other option. At last, in the name place, I just typed Dibba.

"RADHIKA, your result!" I looked at him, and my heartbeat started racing again. Ahhh, you already won the race, heart. Now stop beating so fast.

I got up from the bed and came in front of the table. Oh, my g-

"Mummaaaa!" I shouted loudly, making both of them flinch badly. I looked at her apologetically and smiled widely.

"Your daughter passed with 687 marks!" I squirmed in place and hugged her tightly. This feeling was like being on cloud nine, and right now, no one could stop me from going out of this world.

"Okay, okay, congratulations, Mikky. But tell me my result now." My eyes widened at his request, and I smiled sheepishly at him and gave him the laptop.

He looked at the screen and shouted at me, "What the heck, Mikky? Do you think it's a joke? I was waiting for my result impatiently," he said, erasing the 'Dibba' from the name icon.
