**Radhika's POV**

Soon, we saw a watchman coming there with some bouncers. They were trying to separate them, but the guy on top was not ready to leave.

"Bhai, leave him, he will die," I soon heard Athrav addressing that man as his brother.

"LEAVE ME, ATHRAV! He wanted to see heaven, right? Now I'll show him what hell looks like on earth," he said and again started beating him mercilessly.

After some time, more bouncers came and finally, they separated them.

"Leave him, Bhai, it's enough," Athrav uttered to that man.

"No, it's not enough for him. How dare he come closer to my sister?" he said while trying to pounce on the half-beaten man again.

But Athrav grabbed him tightly and dragged him inside the college.

"Kisho, Kishori, let's go inside the college. The show is over now," Sana said, dragging me with her.

"Umm, the guy—" but before I could complete, they cut me off.

"Leave him, Kishori. These fights are normal in colleges, and it's not the time for gossip. We're getting late for class," Piyu said while dragging Maya, who seemed lost.

We settled in the middle row, but the first thought that came to my mind was where Dibba would sit.

We have a rule since the 6th grade that we will sit together no matter what. Even when the teacher used to change our seats once a month, in the second period we always sat beside our favorite person.

I looked to my right; Piyu was sitting beside me.

"Piyu, I'm sorry, but can you sit with Ishu when she comes? When my best friend arrives, he'll yell at me for not reserving a place for him," I said with an apologetic face.

She smiled and spoke, "It's okay. I was thinking the same. Ishu will definitely get upset and say we kicked her out of the group," she said while chuckling and made her way towards the front bench.

It was past 8:35, and all the classes had already started, but Dibba was nowhere to be seen. He never misses class.

I was eagerly waiting for him when the classroom door opened, and he finally came inside.

"Late on the first day, mister. What will you do for the whole five years?" the professor said, taunting him.

This professor... can't he understand there must have been some important work?

"I'm sorry, sir. There was an emergency, but I'll make sure not to be late again."

Aww, this stupid Dibba of mine is so sincere. (Note the sarcasm...)

"Okay, it's your first day, so I'll let you off, but if it happens again, I'll make sure to send you back home," the professor said, hands on hips.

Ugh... lady-man professor.

"I'm sorry, sir, I'll keep that in mind," Athrav said as he made his way toward my row.

I signaled him to come to the middle bench. He looked at me, and immediately, there was a smile on his sour face.

He came and sat beside me.

But I heard a gasp from the back bench, probably from Sana.

"Ahh, Chudail, I'm glad you still have some brain cells and kept a place for your best friend," he said, poking my thigh with his index finger.
