(At first the world was normal..) people going about their lives when an explosion is seen in the distance. Everyone stops what their doing and stares at it. Some people recording or taking pictures of it.
(Then "The Event" happened..) the air force of the explosions distroy almost everything and everyone.
(The people living closest to the explosives died..) cities leveled and skeletons along with other dead bodies are shown. The news shows this as well.
(A lucky few survived and cheated on death.) "Survivors! Over here!" Army soldier yells as people come out of the rubble and ash.
(Those people were soon discovered to have new abilities.) The army help the survivors and some of the powers get "activated."
