Okay Fine. Let's say that what I heard was not just another nonsense from a dream. Let's just assume that the remnants of magic that still remain are in danger of being destroyed. Let's say that I have not just a feature, but a kind of magic. Let's say that if I don't help all these crazy people, all races will become human.

...

I do not believe. From the word at all.

Not Umbra, not that bunch in white robes.

At the moment, I am lying in "my" chambers. I look at the ceiling, where the moonlight is slowly sliding down. Now I can think about anything without fear of blowing up everything around me. Full moon. All my strength evaporates every month for a couple of days. I have no idea why, but it certainly does me good.

When I informed Umbra of my desire to get home, she said that they would not let me go anywhere until I had at least basic skills in controlling magic, that is, emotions. Without another magician, my studies will not succeed, she said. When I said, "All the magicians are dead," she laughed. Apparently, I'm the only one who's not laughing. And in the end, I was told that I would earn a roof over my head by working as a maid here.

Oh well, I have me, we'll get through this together.

...

Where's the window? I want to get out.

"What kind of game is going on? What the hell is the study?! What magicians!? Everyone's gone crazy!" I thought, screaming into the pillow and rolling around on the bed. As a result, I fell, and already from the floor, hugging a pillow, I was looking at the ceiling.

After lying there for a couple of minutes, I came to the conclusion that these days are the most abnormal, stupid, incomprehensible in all my sixteen years. Everything that happened to me is not normal! It's crazy.

I want to go home.

Strongly. Very.

I got up and walked to the table on the other side of the bed. I took a notebook out of the drawer, a ballpoint pen (which was not immediately found in this state. They mostly write with quills here..), and began to write down everything that happened in order to understand at least a little.

̶W̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶f̶u̶c̶k̶ ̶h̶a̶p̶p̶e̶n̶e̶d̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶m̶e̶?̶

What happened to me:

1. At the ball, I lost consciousness because I overdid it with emotions.

2. Teleported when bowing to the king. Am I considered a traitor to the motherland now?

3. I met with the "Council of Magicians". I was chosen as the savior of magic.

4. Got a job in the main palace of the Druadales kingdom.

5. Well, I forgot to mention that one of the ten strongest almost stabbed me.

A fairy tale, not a life.

With a heavy sigh, I turned the page. I need to come up with a plan to fix all this and return home!

* Knock knock*

Let me sleep, you bastards.

* Knock-knock-knock*

I didn't understand, did the neighbors have repairs again? I don't remember ripping off their roof or setting fire to the fence lately.

— Hey, get up! -  A disgruntled voice came from behind the door.. Kikimora?
