Saturday arrived, amelia along with alex and the moving company made their way to his neighborhood. Amelia was dressed in a plain white t-shirt, blue jeans, white shoes and a white hat. She sat in the front of an old Nissian AD wagon car she felt a bit uncomfortable as she looks over at alex who's eyes were fixated on the busy road.

AMELIA:" well you look comfy!"

ALEX:" why shouldn't I be? Aren't you?"

AMELIA:" no! This car is too tiny and these clothes are too thin! Not to mention the shoes! If I'm supposed to step into some water right now, chances are water might get in. So unbearable !"

AMELIA:"  how long until we get there?"

ALEX:" just ten more minutes."

And so they continue driving until they've finally reached their destination. Upon arriving, amelia looked  through the window and saw kids with torn clothes playing with bottles and sticks in the dirty water, houses were in very poor conditions, stray dogs laying on the side of the road, she even saw a woman with her young baby wrapped up in a piece of cloth with her hands stretched out begging each car for money that passes by.

AMELIA:" oh my! This place is...... I don't even know how to describe it."

ALEX:" it gets a lot worse the further we go. But you won't see that because we've come to our destined stop."

Alex stopped by the square along with the four trucks behind them. The people in the area all gathered around to see what's going on. Alex got out of the car, the children saw who the person coming out of the car was and shouted

CHILDREN:" look it's alex!"

Everyone gathered around alex as they were so happy to see him. Amelia got out of the car and waited for alex to finish talking.  Alex turned around facing amelia and ask

ALEX:" are you ready?"

AMELIA:" yes!"

Amelia signaled the men to unload the items off the truck. Two hours have passed and they were finally finished. While driving back home alex noticed a very sad look on amelia's face

ALEX:" what's the matter?"

AMELIA:" thank you! For showing me how different life can be. Growing up I think that everyone was living the same live I was... I didn't know that poverty exists!"

ALEX:" yeah it happens! It's just the way the world is these days. You gotta help people when you can and in return you get showers of blessings."

AMELIA:" all of this seems so unfair if I'm being honest! I feel like I'm gonna cry... it pains my heart seeing those children going through all this. But what makes me happy  is when I saw those people cry tears of joy when they received the items I was going to throw away!"

ALEX:" as the saying goes.... Another man's trash is another man's treasure."

AMELIA:" I'm happy I did something useful for once! Thank you for talking me into it."

ALEX:" no problem!"

AMELIA:" I'm going at a small get together tonight... you wanna come?"

ALEX:" I mean... I'm your driver so I'm obligated to be there."

Amelia laughs as she replied

AMELIA:" I mean inside.... Come have a drink with me and my friends... think of this as a thank you offer."

ALEX:" all right then! I accept your invitation."

It was around 9:30 pm when alex came to pick up amelia so they could go to the little get together with her friends. Alex was amazed to see what amelia was wearing. A short, black mini skirt, white tall boots, a white crop top,hooped earrings, her glossy lips and her hair curled up.

ALEX:" you look stunning!"

AMELIA:" thank you!"

Both of them got into the car and left. After they arrived Kimberly has already gotten a table, food, drinks and liquor. She signaled amelia and said

KIMBERLY:" over here!"

Amelia went over towards the table and said

AMELIA:" I hope you guys don't mind but I brought along someone."

Amelia's friends looked at alex and replied

CINDY:" I don't mind! Who's he?"

AMELIA:" his name's alex... he's my personal driver."

Cindy holds out her hand towards alex and said

CINDY:" my name's Cindy! Nice to meet you alex."

ALEX:" it's a pleasure to meet you too."

CINDY:" I must say... you're quite the handsome type... are you single by any chance?"

ALEX:" yes."

Alex looks at Cindy who has fair complexion, short, straight hair, pointy nose, thin lips, very large breast poking up her chest, chubby body figure, dressed in a floral dress with black heels

KIMBERLY:" Cindy! Stop hitting on the guy. You're married for Christ sake.. I'm Kimberly... amelia's best friend."

ALEX:" nice to meet you all."

Everyone drank , ate and laugh. Cindy looks at her phone, touch amelia then said

CINDY:" amelia! I think you need to see this!"

AMELIA:" what?"

Amelia took Cindy's phone and saw a picture of her ex-boyfriend and his new girlfriend.

CINDY:" he bought his fiancée, the soon to be mother of his child a fancy house and a Mercedes Benz as a push present."

Amelia hands over the phone to Cindy, took a sip of her liquor and replied

AMELIA:" well! Good for them! This has nothing to do with me."

CINDY:" of course it does! Not only he was cheating on you with different women,but he was cheating on you with someone you used to call your friend. And not only that! He even has the nerve to bring them to the house that you guys lived together in! If I was in your position he'd be dead already. I'd pay some hit man a huge sum of money to kill him and dump his body where it can't be found."

KIMBERLY:" amelia's not as heartless as you Cindy! But let's face it... I'm glad she got out of that toxic relationship. What's even better is that she doesn't have a kid with the guy."

AMELIA:" it's because he didn't want to have any children with me! I've said to him multiple times... let's try having kids and his response was... he's not ready... he doesn't think he'll be the perfect father if he ever has kids. When the truth is... he just didn't want to start a family with me."

KIMBERLY:" why didn't you tell us that from the get go?"

AMELIA:" because if I did... you'd tell me to leave him and I didn't want that. So I cover it up by saying I'm not ready to have any kids."

CINDY:" oh honey! Now this makes me hate that punk even more!"

Amelia started to drink her liquor very hard until she passed out. It was time for everyone to leave, Kimberly look at alex and said

KIMBERLY:" hey alex! Make sure you take her home safely."

ALEX:" I will!"

Alex lifts amelia and carried her in his arms towards the car. He opens the door and put amelia to lay down on the car seat. He looked at her with tears flowing from her eyes as she slept. He gently uses a rag to wipe the tears, close the door and leave.
