"Hey, hey? So when are you going to give me a k-"
"Shut the fuck up."
"Wow, so mean."
Throughout the next week, Minho was stuck being followed around by Lucas Francois. Well, followed wasn't the most accurate word-- it was more like he was being found.
During breaks, the one time Minho gets to take a break from acting like a villain, Lucas wouldn't fail at finding Minho in the corner of the library or one of the school rooftops. Sometimes, he'd even get there before Minho. So now, Minho was stuck eating lunch with a strangely clingy neighbor.
"Well, what about a daily fact then?" Lucas asked, taking a bite of his bread.
Minho furrowed his eyebrows and muttered, "How come I have to do all the talking?"
"Oh, you actually want to learn about me?"
Minho glared at him, and Lucas shrugged. "I didn't take you for someone who needed to get to know someone better before a kiss. You're actually a little innocent?"
Again, all Minho did was stare. He wanted to punch the shit out of the boy sitting next to him, but he didn't want to make Lucas take back his offer, the only solution to Minho preventing the shock for messing up. He was sure that the system would deliver the worst yet; he noticed that when he did something like asking for the maid's name, it had a smaller shock than saying thank you to the teacher. He was sure that the more off-character he was, the exponentially more painful the shocks became.
"Why do you want me to kiss you?" Minho murmured much later.
"Didn't think you'd actually agree."
"Then change the clause. What do you want? Money? I bet being a foreign exchange student here costs too much."
"Wow, you really don't know anything about me, do you? I'm hurt," Lucas sighed.
Minho scoffed. "Why would I know anything about you?"
Lucas had a funny look on his face. His golden eyes, Minho realized, seemed to be pools of honey in the sunlight.
"I feel like I'm a pretty decent topic at school. You...Hm. Well, never mind," Lucas smirked, leaning against the railing. "Money isn't a problem for me. I go here because I want to...my mom wanted to move back to Korea for a bit, so I followed. My dad's still in France. Anyways, I still want you to kiss me, so why won't you?"
He closed his eyes and sighed again woefully as if Minho was making things difficult for him. Minho could only shut his eyes too and sing a mantra in his head not to smack Lucas in the face. Eventually, he calmed down and chewed his sandwich slowly.
"I don't know how different it is abroad," Minho said, "but it's not good to ask a person of the same gender to kiss you in Korea."
The black-haired boy stared and remarked, "But you're not saying I'm disgusting and beating me up for it."
"I can't because if I do anything that makes you take back your truce, I'll probably be sent to a hospital," Minho thought, deciding to take a bigger bite of his sandwich to calm down.
Lucas rested his cheek on his knuckles and watched as Minho continued to eat. His mouth opened unconsciously.
"Hug me every time we meet like this then."
Minho choked on the ham he was chewing, and Lucas handed him his water bottle. Only once Minho flushed his throat out with water did he respond.
"Where did that come from?" he asked, brushing his white hair back in exasperation.
