"That was mean"

3RD PERSON'S POV:

IT'S DAYTIME. Elena has gotten her humanity and selfish self back which made Xavier to be annoyed. Stefan holds up a cinder block which Elena punches and breaks.

"And?"

"That did nothing for me. How was it for you?" Elena asked him as Xavier laid on the couch doing nothing.

"Okay." Stefan said. "Xavier" he called for Xavier and Xavier picks up another cinder block giving it to Stefan. "Again." Stefan takes it and holds the block up. Elena backs up and kicks the block, using her vamp-speed, breaking it cleanly. "Good. Now, focus on letting it go."

"Or we could skip the sublimating part, and you can tell me where she is so that I can rip her head off." Elena said and Xavier thinks.

"That's actually not a terrible idea" Xavier said smiling. "I like Elena like that. I would love to help." He added.

"What did Katherine do to you?" Elena asked confused.

"She is a bitch. I don't need reason. Also she flirts with me" Xavier said. "What did she do to you, Elena? " He asked standing and sitting on the couch.

"She killed Jeremy."

"Actually it was me who did it" Xavier corrected her.

"I know" she replied making Xavier confused "I helped killing your best friend and sister. I know Angelina was your only family. So we are even. But Katherine helped you, so I will just kill her" she explains.

"Wow, you are third person who understands me" Xavier said.

"Who are other two?"

"Rebekah and Caroline" Xavier replied making Elena give her amused look. "Now, Stefan. Where's Katherine? Me and Elena are going to kill her."

Stefan was confused to not hear Xavier calling Elena 'double bitch.' He gave Xavier confused look before saying. "I don't know where Katherine is and, even if I did, I wouldn't tell you."

"Stefan, you are the one who told me to channel all of my emotions into one single feeling." Elena told him.

"I realize that, I just figured it would be love or hope or compassion, not unwavering hatred for a ruthless vampire that's 500 years older than you."

"Well."

"All right, give me fifty pull-ups."

Xavier returned to couch. Elena turns around, jumps up, and grabs one of the exposed ceiling beams; she starts doing pull-ups as Stefan walks in front of her.

"You wanted to kill Klaus when you got your emotions back." Elena told him.

"I know, and I couldn't."

"You don't think I can kill Katherine?'

"She definitely can, if she has me on her side" Xavier said.

" I don't think you really want to."

"Maybe you are right. Maybe I just want to feel the warmth of her chest cavity as I rip out her heart and watch her face as she realizes I took it from her." Elena said as she releases herself from the beam, landing on the floor. "Nah, I just want to kill her. It's that simple." Taking off her jacket " I'm gonna go shower."

"Call me when you head to kill that bitch. I will be in my room sleeping" Xavier called out.

"I will!"

Stefan gave them confused look. 'How were they bonding so fast? They killed each other's only families.' He thought.

Back in town, a couple enters the Grill while the wind whips their hair around from outside. Caroline and Rebekah are at the bar with Matt behind it.

"Is it supposed to rain tonight?"

"Do I look like a meteorologist?"

Caroline gives her an exasperated look before looking over at Elena and Xavier, who are across the room throwing darts.

"Well, someone needs to do something, before she explodes." Caroline said. "What is Xavier doing with Elena? Or why is he smiling?" She asked.

"I have no idea but i got this." Rebekah said and she takes a bottle of liquor and a shot glass and walks over to Elena and Xavier.

"Drink. You are putting everyone on edge." Rebekah said. Elena tosses the shot back, then places the glass on the table and resumes throwing darts. "So, what's the deal? I am new to this whole emotional switch situation."

"It's not complicated. See that dart board? All I can picture is Katherine's face." Elena said and she throws a dart forcefully and hits the bullseye.

"So your emotions are on, they are just dialed to rage." Rebekah said and Xavier noticed girls looking at him smirk. He winked at them.

"Look, Rebekah. I get that we had our Thelma and Louise thing back when I had my humanity off, but let me make one thing clear: we are not friends." Elena said making Xavier drop his mouth.

"Okay."

"That was mean" Xavier muttered to Elena.

"I know" she muttered back.

Elena walks over to retrieve her darts when Caroline joins them. "What about us? Are we still friends? All those things you said when your humanity was off - is that how you really feel?"

"Caroline, I really don't feel like going down memory lane." Elena said and she walks back to line up her next throw.

"Yeah, she is not mood" Xavier said.

Caroline gives Xavier confused look. She was confused to see him with Elena and he was also defending her? What was happening "Well, what about when you said, and I quote, 'You are a repulsive, bloodsucking control-freak monster'? Did you really mean those things?" Caroline asked.

Elena hesitates over her next throw, then gives it up and looks at Caroline."If you are waiting for an apology, you're not gonna get one. Only person I apologized to was Xavier. I can't let myself feel bad, because if I feel bad, then I feel everything, and...we have all seen how well I handle that." She said. Elena throws another dart.
