3RD PERSON'S POV:

It's daytime. Damon and Elena left to find Stefan and Jeremy is on a date, so Xavier has the whole house to himself. He is on his bed, reading his sister's spells book while listening to music with earphones on. Then, he notices that Bonnie is staring at him and he stops.

"Don't stop on my account." She said with small smile and he stood up and took the earphones off.

"Sorry. I, uh...I didn't notice you. What are you doing here?" He asked her and she smiles.

"It's not like there's Netflix where I am. You reading is my main source of entertainment." She replied with smile and he nodded feeling awkward.

"I was just reading, Bon." He said and Bonnie smiles.

"I know." She said. "Can I ask you a question?" She asked.

"You just did but go on." Xavier replied and she chuckled.

"Why are you not using your magic? You haven't used it since... you know." She asked and he looked down getting lost in thoughts. He still remembered how his sister's body turned grey as she closed her eyes. It hurt him. "Xavier?"

"Sorry, I got lost in thoughts." He replied and glanced her. "I couldn't use magic after my sister's death because I was losing control. Lina was always helping me and then she was gone, I felt lost."

"Oh.." Bonnie said feeling guilty. "I am sorry."

"It's not your fault. Also it's not like I can use magic anymore." He replied.

"Why?"

"When me and Lina did spell last time, I lost my magic." Xavier said and Bonnie felt even more guilty. She knew that magic was only thing that made Xavier closer to his sister after her death.

"It's all my fault. I am sorry." Bonnie told him.

"No, Bo—"

"I was terrible girlfriend, Xavier and I am so sorry. I don't deserve you at all. You deserve better than me. I was the one who helped killing your sister and I didn't even try to comfort you. I was just too focused about the cure and Silas, but still what I did was wrong. I am sorry that I wasn't there for you," Bonnie apologized and he sadly smiled. "I know you hate me or something, but I want to be there for you, now."

"I don't hate you." He said and she smiled. "Maybe you suck at being girlfriend but you are a good friend, Bonnie Bonnie." His words made Bonnie's chuckle.

But she didn't like a word 'friend'

"I would love to hug you now but i am dead, so..." Bonnie said with smirk making Xavier to roll his eyes.

"So, is this our new thing? You make dead jokes while I text your friends that you met a wonderful guy in London." Xavier said.

"There's nothing else we can do."

"Maybe we should tell them that you are dead and can't save their asses when they need help. You can't hide this forever, they have to know." He explained, not liking that he had to lie to Caroline. "I hate lying to blondie."
