We leave the restaurant and I ask Matt to text Chris & Nick when to pick them up.
"They said we can wait a couple of minutes" He answers. We talked for a little, reminiscing about our childhood spent together. "I wished we got to know each other more. You were always hanging out with Chris or talking to Nick and I was just kind of there."
"Yeah, I'm sorry about that. I'm glad we can make up for that missed time now though."
He smiles. "Yeah... Anyway, it's been like 10 minutes we should probably go now."
I nod, shifting gears, and driving to the restaurant Nick & Chris were at.
As they get into the car, I see their furrowed eyebrows and eyes burning into me.
"Bro what the fuck" Chris says, closing the car door.
"What's wrong?" I reply.
"It took you 20 mins? The drive is only 5... What took you so long??" Nick questions.
I started to feel guilty and Matt's cheeks grew red. "You told us to wait a couple of minutes?" I questioned.
"No???" Chris responds.
Matt throws his hands up. "Sorry I just wanted to talk to Rose a bit more... Again I'm sorry," He says. I was beyond confused.
"You could've talked to her at any point of the day, not when we were stuck outside waiting for you." Chris expressed. I felt so bad and Matt & I kept apologizing. The drive home was silent.
At Home
I was getting bored so I hopped on my phone. I wanted to look over my script, for my first gig is a week away. I was playing Brooke, a girl who starts a relationship with the 'player' and overcomes the problems that come with it. A basic love story. After, I can up with the idea of doing something fun with Chris, so I texted him.

Chris POV
I was staying in the living room when Rose texted me to meet me in my room so I did just that. I felt bad how the whole day I was mad at her for something she didn't mean to do so I thought this would show her that I was sorry.
Rose opened up a slimy paper mask. As she tried to unravel hers and put it on her face, it kept sticking together and the serum was dripping everywhere.
"Can you help me Chris" she asks, so I mold the paper mask around her face, and for some reason I started to feel my face flaring up.
"You blushing Chris Sturniolo" She snarks.
I turn my face away and cover it with my hands and we both start to laugh.
"Well here let me put yours on" she says, spreading the mask on my face and running her fingers down to smoothen out the wrinkles. I see lovely green eyes set into mine, and she doesn't look away. Neither do I. I push her waist closer to me and I lean into her, but she pulls away.
"We're fake" She says, her head turned against me. I feel my eyebrows furrowing as she repeats, "Don't look at me like that Chris"
Nick pears through the door frame and comes in. "I was trying to find you Rose, Matt fell asleep again" He laughs.
"That boy loves locking me out" She giggles. "Chris you're fine with me staying in your room again right?"
"Of course" I respond, pulling off the paper mask from my face, as she does the same with hers. Rose turns to go grab washcloths to wipe our faces off and Nick sneaks a few pictures, too.
I was gathering pillows and blankets to sleep on the floor when Rose interrupts.
"It's okay if you sleep on the bed Chris, just promise you won't try anything"
"I promise I won't, our relationship is strictly fake" I respond to her. It was somewhat of a punch to my ego but I was fine with it, as long as it's what she wants.
I wake up, earlier than Rose again because man she sleeps heavy. She was cuddled onto my shoulder, which was pretty funny because it was her decision for me to 'not try anything'
I check messages and Nick sent me one of the pictures he took last night. Rose & I looked adorable so I decided to post it to Insta.
