Chapter 21: Unexpected Trip

Nikolas POV

" Bells, send that call over to me, please."  Bells has her own office now, she thought that it would spread rumours and be very unprofessional if we had the same office, so she protested and now she has her own. Although it's still very close to me. Bells nods her head and stabs at a button on her telephone dial. She doesn't bother continuing her work, she just stares at me in utter curiosity, but somehow it looks like she's ogling me, her beautiful orbs sparking my body to life, sending those familiar tingles through my arteries and veins.

She has no clue on what effect she has on me, but I cannot put my finger on the feeling as I've never felt this emotion before. Never. However Bells is a whole new situation, she wants to stay as friends. Maybe it's just lust and desire? Maybe it's just a wanting? How can it be? When all those nights we spent together, those dates, everything, we got to know each other and something unknowing in my heart was forcing me towards her.
I have no idea what Bells is transforming me into, but there's one thing for sure, I am becoming more understanding and approachable. My train of thoughts dismantle as the telephone bursts into life. " Hello, Mr. Taptiklis, do you remember me? Your favourite client? "  This man has always been helping me and making deals with me ever since this business was created, I can recognise his voice. " Mr. Kingston, of course, how could I forget? "  Mr. Kingston's deep chuckle vibrates through the telephone, which causes me to laugh for some odd reason. All of a sudden his voice meets an immediate stop, " You're going on a trip today. I'll explain when you get here."

After his last words, I hear the irritating buzzing noise and put the phone down. A trip? I haven't been on one for ages, it's about time Mr. Kingston found some business for me to do for him because I do owe him a lot of help. Soft fingers tap my right shoulder, snapping me out of my thoughts, " Who was that, Nick? "  The smile on my face begins to grow wider until it feels as if my face is being stretched. Again, her presence causes a fiery and wild senstation to erupt in the pit of my stomach. How does she do this to me? She's literally taking control over Nikolas Taptiklis.

" Bells, we are going on a trip, Mr. Kingston has a deal that must be sorted out."  Her mesmerising orbs burst into excitement, her glowing and angelic smile plasters on her flawless face, and her melodic laugh. Bells begins to fidget with her fingers, her eyes set on the hard floor. " Is it to his house or like an actual business trip? "  Why don't I put all her cute and nervous fidgeting away? Because it's driving my emotions crazy, that fluttery feeling is still dancing in my stomach.

" A business trip, which means going abroad."

" You and Miss Williamson will be flying over to Hawaii to complete a business deal with a man named Campbell, he is one of those clients that travel a lot, so I have arranged a place for where you're meeting. Is that okay? "  Hawaii...that's the most exotic and tropical place I have ever heard about. I've never been there before and everybody's dream is to at least visit that paradise once. Now I get to go with my Bells, which is the best part of this trip.

Bells' eyes are wide, shock is written clearly on her pretty face. Can I just say that this is the most cute expression I have ever come across, her mouth is hanging open as if she's won the lottery, and her face is a deep pink colour because of her joy. " How long do we have to stay in Hawaii? "  I find myself asking Mr. Kingston, in hope for Bells and I to spend some time together after the deal. Hawaii is a beautiful place, and Bells is a beautiful lady, so she will absolutely adore the trip. Mr. Kingston chuckles with a raspy edge to his voice, " You can stay for as long as you want, Nikolas. I only arranged the tickets for the way there, and since you are working all day and every day, I thought that you might like a little holiday with your pretty secretary."

This man is like a father to me. Although we sort out business together, he always looks out for me and asks if I have any worries. Ever since my business was created, he was like this, along side me all the way and I have no way to thank him for all this. " That's great, sir.....thank you very much."  Bells hesitantly steps towards Mr. Kingston and shakes his hand thankfully. A sweet smile is etched into her glowing face, reflecting her gratitude and how grateful she is.

" You're welcome. This man surely needs a break, all he does is work, eh? Ain't it true? "  His funny accent causes Bells to giggle, and the fact that what he is saying about me is true. Her melodic laugh ripples through the room...like jingle bells. New nickname? Bells is going to love this new nickname, she is going to laugh like an angel, in her melodic voice, and she will blush for a few minutes. I know her...she's so predictable, because she's my Bells.

" Okay, shall we make a move, jingle Bells? "  Her breath-taking face swiftly turns to glance at me mysteriously, her eyes narrowing as if she is figuring something out. Her lips stretch into a sweet and lovely smile, it's like she has already taken a liking to the new nickname.
