"Oh, look you are looking so cute"-the older sister Lina spoke while looking at a pic of her sister eating a mango.
"Who is the uncle btw?" Lia spoke while pointing a finger at the guy beside her feeding table.
"Meh? maybe some relative of ours"-Lina
As, the two sisters dug through the old stuff in the basement trying to go back the memory lane, while Bangchan sipped his coffee. He was excepting a nice Sunday up to himself, enjoying his 'me time'. Only if these two (Lina and Lia) hadn't dropped before he could have his first sip of coffee.
"This box is looking older than you"-Lia frankly spoke as if it wasn't a big deal.
Lina shot up a 'a minute doesn't make any difference' look and said, "then open it shithead."
"Hey that wasn't very nice"- Lia spoke while pushing the box open.
"Calling me old also wasn't very nice"- Lina spoke.
"Gee, sorry"-Lia
"Oh, it's a solitaire ring in here"- Lina pulled out a ring which was displayed in a beautiful case as if it was from a wedding ceremony.
Lina examined the ring carefully, the Diamond still shone like it was new, the owner hadn't had worn it much and how safely it was guarded it made Lina nervous like she was handling a very delicate gem that would shatter into pieces if dropped. It was confirmed to be a wedding ring when Lina saw That the ring had her dad's name carved on it.
"Is it Dad's ring?"-Lina thought to herself.
"These are dad wedding pics, but he seems to be marrying a guy"-Lia.
Lina looked carefully at the pic trying to make out who was the person her dad was marrying, she frantically flipped through the pictures in order to find the one during the vows.
"Dad was married to a guy?"- Lina's mind was filled with questions.
In their 22 years of lifetime, they hadn't raised a single question about their mother or dad's love life. They didn't even know is their Chan was married or not. But now their curiosity needed answers they also needed to know what their past was.
They also felt the betrayal that their dad would hide his marriage from them or maybe he never did because they never asked him. But if there is no intention to hide anything then he would not have hesitation to answer their questions.
"Daaadddddd"- Lia screamed at the top of her lungs while Lina got the box.
Chan was just setting up the dining table, when he looked at the girls who had just come upstairs.
"Yes angel"-Chan sweetly smiled at the Lia.
"We found this box in the basement, you're married dad?"- Lina asked Chan while holding the box in front of him.
Chan's eyes widened as big as saucers, chan was thrown out of his wits "well.......umm-....", words were hard to make out for him. He never thought that he would ever have to reveal his partner to his kids like that.
"Everything, without hiding"-Lina's tone was commanding.
"We're mature enough now dad we must know who our parents our"-Lia mentioned to support Lina.
Bangchan opened his mouth to speak but was soon cut off by his daughter who spoke in unison-" right now dad."

Sitting on the dining table Chan looked down at his toast like a 11-year-old kid getting scolding from his parents he felt so little in front of his daughter is even though they were just architecture students.
Lia had a cute, bubbly personality like Chan but now she felt so scary.
"Appa, you only told us to live like besties with you so come on now"-Lina.
"This guy is my husband, he's Lee Minho or Bang Minho, my very first love "- Chan spoke smiling a bit looking at the picture.
"I met him at a business event he was 4, tugging at his mother's dress. I carefully observed his outfit and how is small looked for his age, trying to get his mother's attention. Could only Smile on how cute he was. Then I heard a sound, a sound that is always followed by a cry. His mother had slapped him across the face.
"You shithead can't you see I'm busy!" His mother thundered upon him.
He didn't say anything just clutched on his mother's dress more, silently sobbing. His mother didn't even care to comfort him just ignored him, that broke my heart.
I looked up to see that lady who had slapped him, I was surprised to see Ms. Lee standing there. My mind was filled with questions I didn't even know that the lees had a kid.
Just then the winner was announced- lee enterprises, Ms. Lee and her husband started walking to the stage while giving us a smirk.
I never knew the rivalry that the Lees had with the Bangs always completing in the business tycoon when we had no competitive spirit, we were the people who liked collaboration and friendship with other businesses.
I still had my eyes on lee know how his mother harshly pulled him away from her. Left him in a crowd while he kept rubbing his eyes.
I asked my mother and approached him.
"Hey there" I softly spoke and ruffled his hair in an attempt to calm him down. I gestured for him to come to the benches so I could comfort him, but he didn't react.
"What happened?"- I worried asked him, he didn't say anything just pointed at his knee. I gasped he must have fallen as his knee was scratched and blood was oozing out.
I slowly led him to the bleachers there and bandaged his wound. He thanked me and avoided eye contact; I could tell that he did that in an attempt to hide the handprint mark. I got some cream and slowly turned his face to look at me and gently massaged his cheek, he hissed at the contact, but I kept going on after a while I was done and sat next to him.
I started to introduce myself, but it seemed like he was interested in my face more and I swear that I must have blushed 50 shades of scarlet when he turned my face and touched my nose.
I smiled until he said "you have a bis nose" he still didn't speak clearly, I coed at his cuteness completely forgetting that he had just called my nose big.
Seeing him smile melted my heart.
"Chan dear, come we have to go now." my mom called me. I didn't even realize when time flew by, he was just someone I could talk to whole day.
"he was the cutest person I ever saw."
