-her namesake (and the snake whose dna is mixed with that of the spider she was bit by) is a pit viper
-the spider that bit her was brought to this universe on accident (cause unknown)
-when using her powers, her tongue splits to resemble a snakes' (cause unknown)
-when using her powers, she grows fangs similar to that of a snake (cause unknown)
