The only thing that people can talk about the next day is the new forbidden child. Percy Jackson, the son of Poseidon, and the quest, Annabeth, Percy, and Grover have left to retrieve the Master Bolt. Stolen from Zeus himself.
"Who do you think did it?" Silena's voice breaks through my thoughts.
Piper follows, "Do you think it was someone in our cabin?"
I rub my temples, "Silena, Piper, I don't know. I've told you this so many times, just because I'm head counselor of our cabin, doesn't mean I automatically have access to every piece of information."
"Then who does?" I can't stand Silena's whining, it's been driving me crazy.
"I don't know Silena, I know as much as you do." She pouts, obviously unhappy with my answer. For a 15 year old she sure acts like a toddler. "I'm gonna go talk to Luke."
I stand up but stop when Piper chimes in, "Ooo, going to talk to your boyfriend." Her voice sing-songy and mocking.
I roll my eyes, "Piper, he is not my boyfriend." But I can feel a hint of blush creeping up on my already blushed cheeks. The extra powder really isn't helping my case and Piper and Silena both raise a brow at me.
I ignore them and walk over to the table where Luke and Chris are sitting, talking about something that I did not hear. "Hey Luke!"
I sit down next to him and he smiles, "Hey how are you?"
"I'm great! How are you?" I smile right back but out of the corner of my eye I can see Chris smirking at us.
He shrugs, "Fine." He eyes my shoulder, a bandaged wrapped around it and taped over my wound, "I see you got that taken care of. Good."
I nod, "Yeah, it doesn't hurt that bad, but I felt it was better than maybe getting it infected."
He traces his fingers alond the bandage, right on where the cut is like he has memorized the exact curves and placement of it.
My breath hitches, but not because it hurts, but because this man has no idea what his touch does to me.
His eyes snap to mine and he immediately takes his hand away, "Did I hurt you?"
"No," I shake my had and put my hand on his arm, "Not at all I promise." I look into his eyes for a second, willing him to believe that he didn't cause me any pain.
"Ugh," Chris is sneering at us, "Get a room." We both turn to him with wide eyes, "You heard me." He grimaces and stands up, taking his plate with him before throwing it away and walking back to his cabin.

"Any plans for the day?" Luke walks up onto the front sort of porch of my cabin and sits down in the chair next to me.
I place down my book and shake my head, "No not really. I mean the camp doesn't really do much on Saturdays..."
"Wanna go on a walk?" He raises a brow and I nod. he stands up and offers his hand out to help me up.
I take it and turn around to grab my book, "Hold on let me put this back inside." I open the door to my cabin and walk to the end of the beds. I open the small white nightstand next to it and slide the book into it before closing the drawer.
"Let's go!" I smile at him and walk out of the cabin, but pause to reach for my dagger.
"No," Lukes hand shoots out and grabs my wrist. My eyebrows shoot up, "No need for that. It's just you and me. I just want some time with my best friend away from all this, just like we're normal people."
I smile but furrow my brow, "Okay." I leave my dagger on the table and walk out, shutting the door behind me.
We just walk for a while, in no particular direction but just to enjoy each others company.
"Oh I don't think I told you," I laugh as I step over a large log and onto the other side.
He does the same and raises a brow, "Told me what?"
"You know Zoe, Artemis' daughter?" He nods and I continue, "I was talking to her the other day and apparently she likes you." He stops in his tracks and looks at me, brow knited. "What? That's what she told me."
He cocks his head, "Zoe? Like Zoe Nightshade?"
"Yeah," I laugh, "What about it?" He shakes his head and keeps walking, "No Luke tell me, why don't you believe me?:
"It's not that I don't believe you. It's just more that... Why would I care?" He keeps walking, not looking back at me.
I jog a bit to catch up and then shrug, "I don't know, I just thought you should know."
We walk for a while more, just talking about everything, sometimes nothing, Until I trip over a rock and twist my ankle badly, "FUCK!" I fall and scrape up my arms, "Ah, shit."
"Oh my gods," Luke runs over to me and helps me up, "Are you okay?"
I try putting pressure on my ankle, "Ow, fuck no, ow I don't think I can walk..."
"Here," He wraps one of my arms around his shoulders and turns in the direction of camp.
But then we hear a sound that no demigod wants to hear, we turn around slowly, our eyes wide in fear. Then it hits me, I don't have my dagger...
Just infront of us is a giant Hellhound, and my jaw drops open. I scream at the top of my lungs, but neither me nor Luke have a weapon.
It lunges at me, Luke tries to get in it's way but its faster. It bites the same shoulder that was already cut during Capture the Flag, and swipes to create a huge gash along my thighs and then my collarbone. I can see Luke out of the corner of my eye trying to get it off me, trying to distract it but nothings working.
"ROSALYNNE, ROSE FUCK HELP SOMEONE HELP!" I can barely hear Lukes cries for help over the pounding in my ears.
After a few seconds I pass out, half from fear and half from hyperventilation and blood loss. After that, I don't know what happened. All I know is I hear Luke scream, and that I don't feel like I'm being crushed anymore.

A/N: Sorry this is a bit of a shorter chapter, first one was about 1500 and the second 2000 this is like 1000. Sorry I didn't really know how to extend this one more but I promise the next one will be longer.
