Chapter 7

Another week into Summer, Boruto is still off contract with Sumire, for now. She's still texting him for whatever, but we're pretty good, now.

Now I'm dying of boredom, we haven't gone out for like 3 days and I'm just sitting at home on my phone laying on my bed all day. For food I'm either buying outside or making Instant ramen because I'm too lazy to cook.

I'm probably just gonna take a nap. But before I could plop back down on the bed the groupchat texted, finally! I was almost dying for like 3 days doing absolutely nothing.

I dropped my phone on the bed and opened my wardrobe, too bad cho-cho is too lazy to even get up out of bed to help me. So I just used the same outfit from last week when we went bowling.

I grabbed my phone and I walked down to Inojin's house where he was standing in the front door. "Woah, feels like I haven't been outside in years!" He sighed.

"Careful, that's Shikadai's line." I snorted and we started walking.

"So.. How's you and Boruto going along? I mean after what happened towards Sumire you know and all, I heard she's still texting him?"

"Yeah, but we've been cool now you know, I mean I texted him a lot more after they broke up. I think I was just jealous even though I shouldn't be, I d don't remembered if I followed him back on instagram." I sighed.

"Well.. Like Shikadai said Boruto is just.. confused, I guess. He'll figure it out sooner or later, but maybe when it's too late."

"Probably. Anyways don't you like his little sister Himawari? How's that going?" I winked.

"Well, it's fine. I hang out with her a lot more and she likes to go to a lot of places, especially shopping when I literally almost used all of my savings on freaking clothes."

"Nice.. Anyways what do you think our moms are doing out in Suna?"

"Your mom didn't tell you? They're building another hospital there on behalf of the Lord KazeKage's request, so it'll probably take them the rest of the summer until our next semester."

"Oh.. My mom didn't tell me that, she was too busy lecturing me about not doing any bad things and not blowing my money off too fast." I rolled my eyes.

"Do you wanna get something? I'm actually kind of hungry." He laughed nervously. "Sure, let's go over there to that place, it's my favorite."

We were about to head in until we saw Sumire and Boruto coming out. Why the hell was he hanging back out with that crazy ass possessive bitch? Did he actually reply to her fucking messages?

We decided to spy on them, which was probably a bad idea and gave me deja vu from the first time. They sat down on the bench.

"Do you seriously like Sarada? She's a fucking nerd! I cannot believe you chose her over me." She scoffed. "But that's my childhood best friend? Why would I not?"

"Because I'm your girlfriend Boruto, the only girl that you should be talking to you or you talk to should be me and me only." She glared.

"No! You can't control me you damn bitch! I broke up with you!" He yelled at her. She looked surprised at first and then whispered something to him.

"Whatever, fine. Just leave me alone you weirdo." His expression angered. "That's more like it Boruto." She smiled like she knew I was watching, and kissed him.

"Say goodbye to Sarada for me."
