Vridhi pov:
It is usual Saturday morning I'm buying some groceries as I don't have any plans for Saturday not that I have anyways so I thought of helping my mother with home stuff. It has been 24 years and here I'm still trying to be an ideal daughter that my parents always wanted it's not like I'm not what they dreamt of their daughter even after achieving everything that I wished of ,there remains regret in my heart that in order to be an ideal daughter I failed to be someone's love . I still remember when we used to promise each other that no matter what will happen I will be always by your side . But now no one can even say that there were times when we were together.
I was in my deep thoughts when someone tapped my shoulder I turned to look at the person but as I turned the person caught me into tight hug.
I was just about to say something when the person who is still hugging me said" Oh mygod!! Oh my god !! Ridhi it's you after so many years ? Where were you ? Why didn't youtexted or called me from so long ? " By listening to her voice I immediately broke the hug and looked at that person.
"Arushi, how are you ? " I asked , yes she is none other than Arushi my school bestii . We used to be very close to each other but after school we went on our ways and somehow lost contact.
"I'm good,but what about you , you are looking different"
"It's because you are seeing me after long "
"Oh whatever now let's go we have to catch up on many things " Arushi said with excitement and held my hand and dragged me towards billing counter .
Author pov: And with that after billing they went to nearby coffee shop and after about one and half hour of talking they both were existing from coffee shop . In the mean time Vridhi got to know that after school Arushi went out of state for further studies and now she is working in some pharmaceutical company and she is getting married to her boyfriend that's why. She is here . They were busy in talking that Vridhi did not noticed that someone is coming from her front and they both bumped into each other. She was about to fall but a strong hand caught her in no time by her waist.She closed her eyes by sudden movement and in fear of falling down she tightly hold the person shirt in fist .
"Please don't let me fall" she said to the person still closing her eyes .
"Don't worry Miss I will surely not let you fall so don't worry you can open your eyes " the person said in a very calm tone. His deep and calm voice is sending shivers to her . Hearing these words Vridhi first opened her one eye and then other . And for once she forgot about her surroundings and mesmerized by those baby blue orbes .
On the other hand the person was already lost in those black orbes of her. They were lost in each other just then a voice brought them back to their senses . They immediately left each other and stood straight to look at that person.
