i furrowed my eyebrows, pointing my gun at matthew.
oh fuck, don't tell me he's the assassin.
he was calm, just standing there in front of me in a distance with his gun down.
"are you underestimating me?" i asked.
he smiled & shook his head. "no."
seriously, playing this game just makes him so different from his real self.
that real self of him is that shy & awkward one and now, he's all that confident & shit one.
"then why aren't you trying to shoot me?" i asked again.
he shrugged, "you just looked so determined to win so i want to give you a chance."
i scoffed and rolled my eyes. is he seriously making fun of me?
"let's have a fair game."
he looked at me, amused. "alright, then. both of us can hide for a minute."
i nodded before quickly running away to hide.
i'm gonna end this game with my victory.
when the one minute countdown in my head was finished, i went out the hiding spot.
alright, it's time to act.
i sprinted to the middle of the field and acted to trip on air. i let out a fake groan and held onto my leg.
come on, woohyun, come out. don't be shy
"hey! you okay?!" he finally did come out & worriedly ran to me.
i still pretended to be in pain as my hand slowly snuck to my gun.
"i-it hurts.."
"do you want to go to the nurse's office?"
i shook my head.
"well then, what should we do about-"
i pointed my gun up at him & he did the same.
"saw that coming." i heard him whisper.
"please, just let me win this." i pleaded.
"sorry, eun, i want to win too."
"if you let me win, then i won't call you woohyun anymore."
"sorry, but i'd rather not to lose to you."
"please?"
"no."
"argh- then i'll-"
"you'll what? do this?"
he pulled the trigger, painting me with red paint on my chest, where my heart is located. my mouth went wide open and my mind was dumbfounded.
