"I wish I could of made you stay
And I'm the only one to blame
I know that it's a little too late
This is everything I didn't say"
~Everything I didn't Say- 5SOS
Bailey POV
It was hard deciding if this was what I really wanted. So many parts of me said yes and also many parts said no. There was a constant war of emotions raging through me as Luke set my roller bag in front of me, his hands clutching onto the handle as if to steady himself.
"Is this really what you want?" He asked, taking a hold of my left hand gently.
"Yes. But I'm going to miss you so, so much. Words won't be able to describe..." I stopped talking, the lump in my throat to prominent for me to continue.
"I love you." Luke said, his voice sounding serious as he pulled me in for a hug.
The silence was golden, I could see Mike over Luke's shoulder getting out of the car with the others, his eyes awkwardly looking everywhere but at me.
I pulled away, pushing a piece of Luke's blonde hair out of his sad blue eyes. His expression killed me, literally. I didn't know how much more I could take. If I hung around too long I would never be able to leave.
"Let's go." I sighed, grabbing my bag and pulling it over the curb and towards the departure longue. I'd already checked in and all that was left was to drop my bag.
Waiting in line was awful, everyone but Luke stood off to the side while Luke insisted to stay with me. But that wasn't what was bad. It was the fans. I knew it would happen, especially coming to an airport. A crowded, busy airport.
Luke did his best and it was beautiful to see him talking and taking pictures with ecstatic fans even though his mind wasn't entirely there. Eventually everyone got a photo and left us alone, by then we were at the front of the line. During the entire experience I even ad girls coming up to me asking for photos and a twitter follow. It honestly was amazing and weird, it was a welcome distraction for my totally disconnected brain.
I dropped my bag. The sight of it traveling down the conveyer belt was a serious wake up to what was actually happening. Up until now it just didn't feel real. Now it did and I think this step made everyone else realise it too.
"This is going to be amazing for you Bai. You really should grab it with both hands and go for it. " Lizzie said earnestly as we walked towards my gate. The plane left in just under 15 minutes and the doubt was beginning to sink in.
"Yeah Bailey, Luke loves you we can all see it. He'll be waiting for you when you come back I know it. But for now this opportunity is too amazing to just throw away." Mik insisted from my left.
"I agree." Claudia agreed, giving me a brief hug.
"The boys are leaving soon anyway. They have a european tour for She Looks So Perfect promotion. " Mik pointed out. It was true, very true. In less then a month we would've been driven apart anyway, only this time I took the first step. Luke had grown up a lot since the last time this had all happened.
Luke stopped walking and turned around with a small smile.
"That a really big plane."
"That's what she said." Calum snickered as Ashton hit him over the shoulder.
