For three years, The Prophet (saw) spread the message of Allah secretly.
The Prophet (saw) spread the message of Islam in each and every household, congregation, private gatherings and in every lane and bazaar of Makkah.
The Prophet (saw) taught "La Ilaha Illah Lah" to each and every person he met, be it a free man or a slave, weak or healthy, poor or rich, man or women.
The Prophet (saw) strived to spread the message of "One Lord" i.e. Allah is the one and only Lord, people should prostate before Him instead of the idols they were worshipping. Allah is the only creator and benefactor of the whole mankind.

PEOPLE WHO EMBRACED ISLAM FIRST.
Umm-ul-mo'mineen, Hazrat Khadija (RA) become the first believer of Islam among women.
Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (RA) become the first believer of Islam Among men.
Hazrat Ali (RA) become the first believer of Islam among children.
Hazrat Zaid bin Ha'rsa (RA) become the first believer of Islam among servants.
