ch. 0-6 — [ Prologue ] "First day as janitors"
Y/N was resting peacefully on a dirty mattress until she heard quiet chuckles and laughter, "Hee hee hee... Aren't you two supposed to be off cleaning the campus today?"
Her eyes lifted slowly to see a ghost a few inches away before her face. She cringed as she thought, 'Not the best thing to wake up to, really...'
"Mmmm... Not yet... Five more minutes... Mhmmm..." Grim grumbled, his eyes still closed.
"Go ahead and sleep all you want. And you might not ever have to wake up again!" A ghost spoke.
"Just like us! Ahaha ha ha!"
Grim shot up when he heard the ghosts again, "MYAH!? The ghosts... they're back! Y/N, get up and at 'em!" Grim demanded the girl lying on her bed lazily.
'It's way too early in the morning to be fighting ghosts... I'm still tired from yesterday.' Y/N sighed as she got herself up from bed and got out her magic pen.

They finally beat them and sat on the floor while panting as the three ghosts giggled, "So I heard that you'll be living here from now on? Hope you'll enjoy the pranks as we do! Haha ha!"
"We gotta get rid of these ghosts for good!" Grim pouted, putting his arms on his hips in anger.
We suddenly heard footsteps coming our way. It was Crowley.
"Good morning, Y/N. Did you have a nice rest?" Crowley asked her.
Grim joined the conversation, "Nope! When I slumped on the bed, the mattress went through the bed frame and fell! Exactly how ramshackle is this dorm? Not to mention, we got woken up by these ghosts!!"
"I slept... well? I guess." Y/N huffed.
Crowley smiled, "It is great to hear that you've adjusted well, even though you've been sent to another world! Speaking of moving on, let us talk about your task for today.

They decided to talk about their tasks in the lounge of ramshackle, so they moved there.
"Your task for today is to clean the campus. That said, the campus is vast, and only having the two of you clean, it'd be quite difficult. So, therefore, today I'll have you focus on the front gates to the library." Crowley continued what he left off before turning to Y/N with a serious look.
"And Y/N... I hope that you'll keep an eye on Grim. I don't want another incident like yesterday to happen again."
Y/N's body stiffened, "U-understood, sir." But, her mind says otherwise, 'I wouldn't say that I can promise that...'
Crowley nodded, "Don't fail me. You can have your lunch in the cafeteria. I eagerly await the fruits of your labor." Crowley finished before getting up and slamming the door shut.
After he left, Grim puffed out his cheeks and crossed his arms over his chest, "Hmp! I ain't cleanin' anythin'! I came in here to study magic! Not clean someone else's gunk! I want to be like "WHAM!" "POW!" "WHOOSH!" y'know?"
"After we finish our tasks for today, we can head to the library." Y/N simply stated, ignoring what Grim said about not cleaning.
"Hmrp! Fine! But there better be some tuna waitin' for me!" Grim exclaimed as Y/N went back up to put on some clothes that Crowley provided.
After she changed, they both headed out to the main street.
