15 - Dangerous Woman

🦤Yin's POV

I jolt awake from the ringing of my phone.

War groans in front of me and moved to face the other way. I leaned and he's still sleeping. Annoyance in his face.

I picked up my phone and it's Anntonia.

Got out of my bed and picked up the call. I moved to the balcony to not disturb him.

"What is it? You know you have the worst timing. It's 6 AM." I asked annoyed but then I heard her sniff.

"Anntonia?" My tone changed to worry.

"She's... I think she's leaving me for him." She said in between sobs.

"Honeyyy. You know you're better than him. Stop wallowing, okay?" I pressed my head on the glass. It's always been her problem with Mich. She's still insecure with Mich's ex.

I know for a fact, Mich will never come back to that guy.

"You are better than him. Prettier. Sexier. Funnier. Smarter. What else do you want me to say hmm?? Richer? I mean... No. He's richer but that doesn't matter. You're rich enough." I said and she laughed.

"There. You laughed. I'm done." I said.

"What's the hurry?? You're with War, aren't you?" she said.

"Aside from it's 6AM, and yes I'm with him and he's sleeping and I don't want to wake him up."

"Fine. Let's meet next week. I need an ear." She groans again.

"You can have all of me next week, okay?"

"Okay. See you, Mr.-I-don't-want-to-wake-the-love-of-my-life." She said mockingly, annoyed at me.

"See you soon, Ms. Beautiful."

I dropped the phone call and he's still asleep.

Oh shoot. I need to ready Belle. She has an early morning playdate with her friends. Was it 7 AM? Why do they have to meet that early, though?

Even though I really really reallyyyy want to get back to bed. I went on to wake Belle up and wash her for the day. I brought her down to her friends who's waiting for her to have breakfast.

"We'll take her, I see you're still... have asleep." Mila's mom said.

"Thanks. I'll get her in about... 3hours?" I asked.

"Yeah. Around 10:30 but I'll send a message on the group." She said and thanked her.

"Be good, okay? Call me if you want anything. Love you." I said and kissed her, and she kissed me back and I hurriedly went back to the room.

I got in and the bed is already empty.

The shower turned on and I went in to open it but it's locked.

"War!" I knocked and knocked but he didn't answer. He should be able to hear me.

Was it because he woke up alone?

He might feel left out.

I should've left a note or something.

I sat on the bed and waited for him to finish showering.

But... it's weird.

Why would he immediately shower? We showered right before going to bed. Is there something wrong? Did I do something wrong?

I was pulled out of my internal struggle when we opened the door.

I looked up and he made a forced smile.
