Daniel. It can't be! He... ,,Daniel!" The girl felt her eyes almost watering. She didn't know how to act or what to do, so she just standed there. ,,So you...searched for me?" Josephine asked. The boy took a step closer and nodded. ,,Yes. I..." His voice faded away. ,,...But why?" Josephine asked.
,,Because I...I don't know. I wanted to prove that you were real."
,,Prove to who?"
,,To...myself." And so they stared at each other.
,,Mister Hallan!" Someone shouted someone. Daniel looked to that direction, then back at the girl. ,,I'll see you. I promise." and he was off to go.
,,...Bye." Josephine mumbled. She looked as Daniel walked away. He was still the same, just...taller?
I'll go after him, she tought.
And so she did. Daniel walked to a another man. There were also two horses. The other man held two guns. Guns?! But she just waited until they started to mount away. Then she mumbled some spells and raised her both hands. A pair of white wings appeared. She followed the men as a bird, soundless and up too high for someone to regionize her face.

The men arrived at a manson. A huge one, with too many windows to count. Josephine had heard of something like this near the forest, but had never seen it. Until now. The men went inside, leaving the horses to a maid, who bowed and said something like ,,Yes, of course, Mister Hallan..." or something...
Josephine landed and the spell also disappeared. She followed the men inside the mansion, not sure why, exactly.

Everyone called Daniel "Mister Hallan", no one used his first name. Josephine was suprised that no body noticed her, tho the house was full of soilders and maids.

,,...We must get more men! We need to be stronger than ever before!" she heard voices coming behind one door on her right hand. The door was three inches open, so she could see faces.
Stranger, stranger...another one...and another...and...Daniel. Josephine stayed still, lisening.
,,...People are dying out there!" another man said, ,,Why to send more people to suffer?"
And another man: ,,Because it's war, that's what it is! and we can't afford to lose this one!"
,,Enough!" said Daniel finally. ,,I've made up my mind: all that is left from Arualsania are old ones and just boys. We'll send letter to Nomekopia, asking for help."
,,But sire..." someone asked.
,,I'm done at this place. Now do as I said: Letter to Nomekopia." Said Daniel, before walking out of the doors. Josephine had left as soon as she saw Daniel standing up.

She stormed out of the castle-alike place and sobbed the spell, before rising her both arms and flying away to the forest.
A war? she thought, No...
She sobbed, quietly, so no one could hear her. At least so she thought.
,,Why so sad, little sunshine?" She heard someone say. Josephine turned around and saw a tall man. But not a human, no. This one was one of the elves. He wasn't wearing a shirt, so she saw the almost perfect chest, on what were many, many scars. The man's arms were muscular, hair long and black, eyes golden, and he had real, not spell-made wings and...horns. Big ones.
Maybe he's not one of us after all...He looks like a...
And then she realized
Like one of devil's son's!
