don't look away

Knock..knock..knock, three knocks on my door in a sequence only me and Mattheo know. I smile and stand up. "Come in," I shout, excited that he's back from the Malfoy manor where he's been staying. He opens the door, and I run up to him, happiness coursing through my body. He drops his bags and opens his arms wide. My arms wrap around his neck, and his around my waist. I close my eyes to savor the moment just a bit more and I nuzzle my face into his neck. We pull back from the hug with big smiles. "Did you miss me?" he says. I just laugh. "No, I haven't missed you at all. I was just sending you letters and presents for the fun of it," I say sarcastically pushing him,I sort of admire him as he clings to every last word. He just smiles at me. "I've missed you too, darling," I smile and blush a little bit know I shouldn't feel like this but I can't help it. "So, What are we doing now you're back? We can either stay in and watch a movie or go to the party at Pansies tonight," I say, already knowing which one he'll pick. He pauses for a second before answering. "Although I do love spending time with you, I think I'll have to go with the party," he says, and I just laugh because of how predictable he is. "I knew you were going to say that," I say with a chuckle. "Am I that predictable?" he laughs along with me, but this time he looks at me differently, and not in a bad way. If anything, it's making my heart pound in my chest. we just stayed like that for the longest 30 seconds of my life staring at each other, as if we were strangers who had just met, he broke the silence and tension "We'll be late if you don't start getting ready because you take the longest out of the two of us" he just shoots me a cheeky smile and I laugh "okay, okay ill start getting ready".

I finish putting on my lipliner and lipgloss then spray some vanilla perfume on myself, I take my hair rollers out and finish my hair then call Mattheo from the bathroom to my bedroom "Which one" I say holding up two dresses one black satin dress, and one black matte dress that hugged my body and had a slit down the leg he stares at them for a good minute before pointing at the matt black dress and saying "that one" and smiling I nod my head and shoo him out of the room while I get changed. I put my YSL heels on and called in Mattheo "Can you come help with my necklace" he agreed and walked into the room then stopped dead in his tracks looked me up and down then grinned "What" I asked him. He looks at me as I hand over the necklace "Nothing you just look... well stunning" he says as I hold my hair up so that he can put the necklace on my neck I turn my head to face him after he says this. I smile and then look to the floor "Thanks" I say heat spreading across my cheeks. he places the necklace on my neck and goosebumps cover my body he then clasps the necklace and moves my hair from my shoulder and admires me I look up to meet his eyes then he chuckles to himself "your still a short ass even with heels on" I look offended then playfully slap his shoulder "no your a giant and I'm averagely sized that's the difference" I laugh then I hear a knock on the door.

 I shout "Come in" In piles Draco, Enzo, Theo, Blaise, and Regulus I turn to Mattheo "Oh yeah pre-drinks here" I walk over to the boys who are having a conversation "Drinks anyone," I say holding out a tray of jello shots, absinth shots, and vodka shots they all take one each as do me and Mattheo and we all down more than three of them. Draco looks at me "You look gorgeous by the way" I smile at him "Thank you " Mattheo must have overheard because the look he gave Draco was not a friendly one, I awkwardly cough to cut the tension "Let's go to the party" I say to the boys all of them piled out of my room as fast as they piled into it. 

Me and Mattheo were behind everyone else and he was still glaring at Draco "Are you ok" I asked him snapping him out of whatever trance he was stuck in "Yeah why" he said to me "No reason" I said looking at the ground he looks at me and stops in his tracks "y/n" he says gesturing me to stay behind with him "yeah" I say holding back from the rest of the group he looks into my eyes and stares at me making my heart flutter and feel like it's going to explode he lifts his hand and moves a strand of hair behind my ear "my cheeks are now burning and I feel the most flustered I have ever felt " I got you something" he says pulling out a box that looks expensive "I felt bad cause you got me a present for my birthday and I missed yours" he opens the box and it is the most perfect bracelet I have ever seen the diamonds sparkled and when you tapped the main diamond it replayed some of my favorite memories with mattheo. I look up at him astonished and pull him into a hug "Thank you" I say in almost a whisper he wraps his arms around my waist and buries his head into my neck "your welcome" As we stand there enjoying each others embrace he pulls back his hands still on my waist he looks at me in a way I can only describe as love he then looks down to my lips then back up to my eyes my heart skips a beat am I just imagining things or is he looking at me like he wants me "y/n" he says yet again but in a lower huskier tone "yes" I say my heart pounding a million beats per second and I look down at the floor afraid that if he looks at me for too long he'll read my thoughts. he grabs my chin to make me look at him "Don't look away" he says, I just stand there unable to speak so instead I nod my head his stare gets more intense "I want you" he says my heart stops and it feels like time has stood still.
